Absolutely gorgeous! I gave this bowl as a gift, but secretly wanted to keep it for myself.

Pictures can not do justice to the beauty of this bowl. It is magnificent in workmanship, the wood, its size and style. The seller placed great attention in making it, sending it and ensuring it got here secure and in a very timely manner. Highly, highly recommend.

About

THE ARTS CONNECTION

Andrea Comsky and Jack Cousin are a married couple and professional musicians who met while playing in a symphony orchestra. They soon learned that they not only made beautiful music together, but were both involved in the creative end of the arts. Jack has been crafting stunning wood furniture and other wood art for most of his life, while Andrea has spent decades photographing magnificent landscapes with film. She also designs and handcrafts her own jewelry line.
Together they explore the unique intersection of the performing and creative arts. Performing is "interpretive" while creative is "compositional." The intersection of the two play off of each other and serve as the artists' inspiration. In particular, Mr. Cousin has always been drawn to the gorgeous woods of the string instruments that surround him in the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Ms. Comsky selects very specific music to listen to while designing and photographing. All of these elements create a distinct and harmonious palette, which the artists draw upon.
Several years ago, after finding much interest in their work, and selling many of their pieces, the artists decided to open a small, family-run business, "Encore Classical Designs."
Since that time, their art has been featured in museum stores and concert hall gift shops throughout the country. Several of their Limited Edition items are purchased by collectors.
They are well known in Los Angeles where they present their artisan gifts at an annual Trunk Show at Walt Disney Concert Hall, home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
IN THE MARCH 2017 ISSUE OF LOS ANGELES MAGAZINE, JACK COUSIN WAS NAMED OF LA'S 50 BEST ARTISTS!!!
Everything that Mr. Cousin and Ms. Comsky creates is custom designed and handcrafted, one at a time, in their home studio in Southern California.
