At Other Such Nonsense, you'll find awesome, funky, unique handmade items, specializing in home decor, Christmas ornaments and other random lovelies, because that's just how I like it...random!

I try to do my fair share to help the environment and therefore, often use recycled and thrifted items and materials (i.e. cardboard)in my craft.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
Due to the unique handmade nature of items, I cannot accept returns or exchanges. I do my best to accurately represent and describe all of my items. I try to include photographs showcasing every angle and important details. If you still have a question about an item, please contact me before purchasing.

If, for some reason, you are completely unsatisfied with an item, please contact me immediately upon receiving the item and before leaving feedback. On a case by case basis, I will see what I can work out.

When shipping items, fragile or otherwise, I take extra care in making sure they will arrive to you just as I sent them off. However, once an item leaves my care, I cannot be held responsible if something is lost or broken. If the items being purchased are of fragile or irreplaceable nature, I encourage you to contact me before purchasing about adding insurance or delivery confirmation onto your order, as an extra precaution. If something should arrive in such a condition, once again, please contact me immediately and before leaving feedback.

At the end of the day, I want all of my customers to be super duper satisfied and if my customers are satisfied, I'm satisfied! :)
I currently accept PayPal only.

I request that after an item(s) is purchased, payment be made within 3 days. If, by some chance, some unforeseen circumstances come up and payment cannot be made within those 3 days, please contact me as soon as possible so we can work something out.

If you see an item that you would like to purchase, but know you cannot pay right away, please let me know before purchasing, as I can reserve the item in my shop for you.

Non-payment and lack of communication from the buyer will result in the cancellation of the sale and regretfully, negative feedback may be left. Throughout the course of the 3 day grace period for payment, I will send 1 reminder through Etsy's conversation feature. After that, I will send a final reminder through email. After the 3 day period is over, if payment has still not been made and I have received no communication from the buyer, I will send a final email stating that I will be canceling the sale.

I'm always willing to work with the buyer and find an option that suits both parties. I encourage you to contact me with any and all questions or concerns.
I generally ship US first class mail, if applicable. I try to cut shipping costs by oftentimes using recycled packaging (which is helpful to the environment. Win win!). As a rule, I will ship your order out the next chance I get, which is usually within 3 days. I will send you a message through the Etsy conversation feature once I receive your order and payment and let you know when your order will ship.

I do not include delivery confirmation, insurance, etc. If you would like any of these added on, please let me know and I will send you an invoice for the added charge through PayPal.

I will combine shipping for purchases from both of my Etsy shops, Other Such Nonsense and Other Such Nonsense 2: Vintage and Supply (http://www.lindsd620.etsy.com), upon request.
After checking out, just send me a convo and I will send you a revised invoice via PayPal.

*I ask that you please make sure your PayPal and Etsy ship to addresses match and if not, please include the address you would like me to ship to in the Notes to Seller section. If they do not, this may delay shipping time.

*INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: I will ship internationally, but ask that you please contact me with your location beforehand for a shipping quote. Please keep in mind that this quote will be for First Class international only and will not include any extras, i.e. insurance. Buyer is responsible for any customs or other fees incurred when shipping internationally.

**Please note, any shipping overages (domestic or international) of $1.00 USD or more will be refunded via PayPal.
Additional policies and FAQs
I consider all custom order requests and will work with the buyer to insure that the item is just as awesome, if not better, than what they imagined. I cannot offer any guarantees as to how long a custom order will take me to complete, as it can vary on a case by case basis, but I will give you an idea and will continue to update you through the process. I do ask that when a custom order is complete and listed in the shop, that you please purchase and pay for within 5 days listing time. I will always notify you when the item is listed.

Unfortunately, I currently do not have the capabilities to do any large wholesale orders.

I will consider consignment requests from local (New England), established consignment shops only.

Sorry, no trades or local pick-ups.

I do reserve items. Please contact me if there is something you are interested in that you would like to have reserved. I will reserve an item for 5 days. If you need it reserved longer, please let me know and we can try to work something out.
