I am so glad I found your amazing shop. You are so gifted and so great to work with. I only had to tell you kind of what I wanted and you crafted it 100%! My mum LOVES this brooch - I do too so I am sure I will be back to spoil myself with one of your amazing creations. THANKS again :)

The transaction started out well, but the brooch was so heavy that it wouldn't stay in place on my shirt. The seller told me to send it back to Bulgaria, but to declare a nearly $60 item for only $10. I listened to her, but now I have no recourse with the Post Office, since the brooch got damaged on the way back to the seller. She fixed the previous issue, but she must not have noticed the damage herself, because she sent the brooch back to me. The pictures she sent once the item arrived back in Bulgaria, now that I have the item in hand, show the damage. It looks like one of the acorn leaves came loose, but now the seller is demanding more pictures. I will oblige, but this transaction has been long, drawn out, and frustrating. Her work is still top notch, but I'm now thinking twice about overseas purchases.

I feel I did my best to make things right. As you were unhappy about how the brooch sits and wanted me to alter the pin I paid for the return shipping and reimbursed you the $28. There was no damage to the brooch when I received it back. I sent you photos of the new pin I added which you approved. I did not alter anything other than adding another pin and checked the brooch thoroughly before posting it back to you, there was no damage when I sent it. I hope you can understand that I need some evidence of damage before I can proceed but think it is more the nature of the materials I use and the slight natural movement my work has that you are not happy with. If you send a photograph and indeed there is damage I will refund you, if there is no damage but you are unhappy with the brooch you can return the brooch for a refund
I’m Saffron Johns, 34 years old and grew up in the beautiful mountains of Wales. I moved from the UK to live in Bulgaria about ten years ago.
I always knew I wanted to do something creative and went to Hereford Art College receiving a BA in Contemporary Applied Arts in 2005. I create my work mainly by crocheting coloured wire and add gemstones and beads. I love coming up with new ideas and I am always thinking about the next unusual, cute designs and characters.
Thank you; It's truly wonderful the amazing people you meet through creating and I am very grateful for all those who support what I do.

Additional policies and FAQs
The type of wire I use is mainly enameled copper wire, not only is it colourful, permanent, vibrant and shiny and comes in an array of colours and gauges but has the bonus that the enamel coating protects the copper wire from tarnishing and will not fade over time.
I also use gold and silver plated copper wire and sterling silver wire, the type of wire I use will be clearly stated in the description.
CARING FOR COLOURED WIRE
cleaning coloured wire
I find the best way to clean my wire sculptures and jewelery is to use a soft brush like a paintbrush to carefully remove any dust and dirt. If a piece is in need of more attention after that I suggest using a damp soft cloth and carefully polish the piece. Coloured wire can be washed using water, however if the piece remains wet for a long time it will ruin the piece so never soak wire and dry the wire piece out immediately after washing.
Plated and sterling wire should not be cleaned in this way! There are various methods and products for cleaning plated and sterling wire that can be found by searching the web.
The wire I use is often thin, normally 0.2mm and can easily be gently bent and curled back into shape if needed. However wire is delicate and repeated heavy bending and the like can damage a piece so do take care.
