Bonjour, bellas! “Oui” pronounced as /wi/, French word for YES. Aims to co-create moments with you and your loved ones. Special moments you can never not say YES to.

“What if gifting was made easier?”. “Convenient but still well-thought of and never taken for granted.” These were the few concepts in our heads while Irah and I wrote on a piece of paper in a cafe, as we brainstormed about our products and service. During that time we said, most of our competition priced relatively high and instantly thought that if we could source premium items and offer it at a more affordable rate to our target audience, we’ll get a piece of the pie. We had to carefully define our audience. We spoke to them through our stories and Voila! It worked!

Months later we were getting orders like hotcakes. The passion project was working, and it was the stress we looked forward to every day.

Irah and I have gone to pursue our dreams with our full-time jobs. I moved for a job in the US and Irah flew across the 🌎. Timezones apart, it got complicated for both of us to discuss business matters (not to mention operations became 10x harder since they only had each other to do every box) unlike what it is before. That is the truth, so we decided to pause until they figured things out. It wasn’t easy, but now more than ever, the duo is happy to share with you that OUI(we) are moving. OUI! We have moved here in the US!

When I left for NYC, I never thought we’d ever be able to think of a way to keep the business going. We had to pause. Little had I known we’ll move and adjust the business model for the USA. Luckily, we had a new team member who willingly did a great part in making the operations happen. You can’t spell Loui without Oui anyway. (Wow, I forced that) Here’s an appreciation post to the Innovator to my Visionary, Oui’s new partner, I know we’ll grow— financially and personally. All new experiences and learnings, one carefully made leap at a time.
