Beautiful work!! I love the detail and the diversity of prints collected in one patch. I ordered 5 different shapes of the LOVE patch and the leather peace sign patch and I love all of them!! I received them fast, and she was really great at the 'back and forth figuring out what I wanted' phase of it too. Great experience. Will come back for more!!!

About

Creating garments with a sewing machine, textiles design through fabric dye and fabric manipulation with felting.

I began clothing construction and fabric dying as a way to keep busy and let out creative energy. I was living in the Sierra Mountains, Lake Tahoe, where the winters can be long and cold. I've always sewn home interiors, quilted and such but the clothing side of things was all new to me. I dove in and started collecting upholstery fabrics, vintage curtain panels and interesting textiles wherever I ventured. From the various tapestries, brocades and fabrics with interesting colors and textures emerged vests, jackets and coats. I would cut up patterns and change things around to get the design elements I wanted. After a winter of endless sewing, with no formal fashion industry training and sewing on my old Sears Kenmore machine, I created quite a stock of diverse pieces. My style and interests sway and change with different ideas constantly flowing around in my brain. I do believe though that my strongest skills are in color cohesion and tailoring. I love to tinker with fabric dyes, silks and felting. I also feel that using re-purposed fabrics and garments is a positive direction that everyone should be moving towards. Vintage and reclaimed garments and cloth really can add character and charm to an entirely fresh new piece while not creating more waste along the way.

Hello and thanks for supporting my little ETSY space. This is an amazing venue for all involved and I hope it continues to grow and thrive for many years to come. Up to this point the people I have done business with as well as the folks working at ETSY have been supportive, understanding, patient and all around easy to work with. I look forward to future interactions with this community as well as more designing, creating and dreaming as ETSY continues to grow and succeed.

I do accept 'Special Orders' whenever a shopper doesn't see a design or color scheme they are looking for. Simply convo me and let me know what you are looking for in terms of colors, design elements or fabrics you desire.

Shipping
Shipping totals vary depending on the item being shipped. Slip Dresses, skirts, curtains and other light weight items usually ship for below $10.00. I use the USPS for shipping needs. The items have been put into categories by weight and a universal shipping cost has been added to the items in each section. If the buyer prefers I use a different shipping method than the USPS that is fine. Please convo me at time of purchase and we can work it out. I can also get the exact amount of shipping on an item prior to purchase if necessary.
Refunds and Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Hopefully items are returned in the same manner they were received. Please ask questions and be sure your measurements match the item you are purchasing ahead of time. This helps to avoid many returns. If you are unsure about the size please convo me with any concerns you may have.

I do my best to get a tracking numbers on items just in case something goes missing. However, sometimes a receipt is all that is available when the lowest shipping price is used. I haven't had anything go missing in many years of sending items through the mail. If this is a concern of yours please communicate that to me prior to shipping and added tracking/insurance may be purchased.
