Announcement   Overdue Industries was borne from a love of not only books themselves, but from the countless beautiful pages found inside.

We began this journey as collage artists - pulling imagery and words from wrecked and otherwise discarded vintage books. We were left with incomplete books that couldn't be sold, so we bought a binding machine and started creating journals from their covers. Some original pages make it into each journal, as a memento of its former self. These pages also serve as inspiration for the journalist, too, we like to think!

The pages that don't become a part of the journals become coasters, magnets, pocket mirrors or key chains. Any possible way we can use the bulk of the pages, we do! There's still life in them yet! While not all of these items will make it to our Etsy shop - be sure to check us out in person at one of our shows! The nostalgia is thick!

Beyond the journals and items made from book pages, we offer unique, one-of-a-kind earrings and jewelry made from ACTUAL BOOK COVERS. What better way to showcase your love of books than by wearing one?

In 2017, we added mugs and onesies to our collection. These are inspired by some of our favorite books and characters. If you have a mug or onesie that you'd like to see, or if you have any questions about anything we do, feel free to contact us! We'd love to hear from you!

Shipping
We ship via USPS First Class Mail, usually every 3 days. If you need the item faster than this, please convo us BEFORE you order to arrange for overnight shipment. In most cases, we are able to accomodate, but if not, we will let you know.
Refunds and Exchanges
Almost all of our primary materials are actual discarded library books and their pages, so expect a vintage feel to your item. This includes natural wear & tear from previous use as a book. That being said, we want you to be thrilled with your order. If you aren't, please let us know right away! You may arrange to ship the item back to us, but please be aware that you will be responsible for paying return shipping and we do not reimburse for shipping that was paid to ship order initially.
