The Owlstudio at Etsy
Founded in May 2010, the Etsy Owlstudio http://www.owlstudio.etsy.com started as a branch of the original Owlstudio at http://www.owlstudio.at to reach a bit further and present our items to a larger audience and connect with people from the whole world. The idea for our bookprints came from a combination of our love for antique books, vintage illustrations and our very own art.
A very deep love for all animals, owls in particular, wildlife and nature explains the wide variety of our motifs covering these themes.
It holds it's very own fascination to work with antique books and book pages that are more than three times your own age. Just the thought of where this book could have been and who could have held it in his or her hands is amazing.
Don't forget to have a look at our lovely studio cats 'Beamer' and 'Mac' who can often be heard snoring heavenly in the background ;)
