About

Paint4Ethiopia

The story behind my etsy shop is short and sweet. We are a family of 4, and my passion is to capture the essence of Ethiopia in my work. It is my goal to create art that is a window into my heart and brain- to look at all the complexities that we as humans face every day. To bring a memory, feeling, smell to life on canvas or other medium. This is what I am compelled to do. Along with this, a portion of my sales is donated to WEEMA International- I am on the Board of Directors of this NGO working in southern Ethiopia, and I am passionate about our mission and work.

Welcome to Paint4Ethiopia! My artwork is inspired by my adventures in Ethiopia, being a mom to two incredibly creative and LOUD girls, and my Portuguese heritage, amongst other things... Mix it all up, and you will understand the explosion of color that you see in my work! Bem vindo! Selam! Welcome! :)

To keep updated on my current work, you can follow me on Facebook at "Paint4Ethiopia".

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I accept Paypal and credit cards payments.
Shipping
Shipping is through USPS. Your order will go out within three business days of payment. In order to keep shipping expenses low, I may use "recycled" packaging to ship items-be assured that I only use packaging that completely protects the artwork.
Refunds and Exchanges
100% satisfaction guanteed. If you not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact me. I will gladly refund the purchase price of the item minus the cost of shipping. Item needs to be mailed back (at your expense) prior to receiving refund and must be in same condition as when I mailed it out.
Additional policies and FAQs
I LOVE doing custom orders, and would love to create a one of a kind item just for you! This would include sharing sketches, discussion of color choices, etc. For custom orders, we can discuss "turnaround" time so that everyone is happy!

Regarding my hand stamped items and custom orders, please note that all my work is created 100% by hand, so no two items are identical. That's the beauty of the art- the perfection of differences! Please allow for variances.
