Fabric and color has always called my name, my love of painting on fabric made my selection of a business name easy, What else could it be called other than: "PAINTED THREADS" !

In 1998, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Unable to sew, but knowing that working with color and fabric would be a integral part of my recovery, I began to cut and design small pieces of fabric that did not require sewing and my Painted Threads fabric art card collection was born.

Altho Ive had many health challenges over the years, Im trusting God, keeping my chin up and my thoughts positive so that i continue to create high quality art with fabric being my canvas and PAINTEDTHREADS will continue to speak to the heart..

One of my earliest memories as a little girl of five or six years old was standing by the sewing machine, watching in awe, as my grandmother created a gold satin cotillion ball gown... Thus began my passion for fabric and color.
