Quite beautiful! These earrings are impressively well made. They feel very special to wear. Thank you also for the quick shipping, nice little gift box and ribbon, and the enclosed leaflet so I won't forget.

Want to start off with saying the shop was so very helpful with my order, helping my me figure out my sizes, and picking colors. I felt a little silly at first with the poofy sleeves, but after getting every thing on and seeing myself in the mirror it just felt right. The blouse can also be used with other costumes as well. I plan to use it with my assassins creed jacket to give it a bit of flare. Also The poofy sleeves and deep color lend well to hot days. I'm grateful for both.

Loved the Venetians. The shop was so helpful when I was picking my costume. I was lucky enough to find boots and a hat to go with the costume. It's usually very hard to buy clothes online, but they helped me with measurements and size. It fit perfectly. Of course I would have been dehydrated wether I went with darker or lighter cause the heat and humidity the days I went were unbelievable. So glad they helped me pick my colors, because I was being complemented all day. I loved it.

The items I purchased were wonderful. I bought them for a renfair and had so many people complement me while there. The woman in the picture is a regular there. I bought the jerkin, Venetians, and fencing blouse from this store. They were so helpful, responsive, and accommodating. I'll definitely be shopping with them again.

About

Palace Gallery has been in business for 25 years as a website and by traveling to SCA events under the name of Gipsy Peddler.

My daughter and I make and sell Italian Renaissance Clothing and Accessories to historical reenactors and professional performers. We specialize in list-legal rapier armor which is sold under the name of Gipsy Peddler, the oldest division of our company.

Our products have appeared in weddings, theatrical productions, Renaissance fairs and music festivals. We even have a rosary in a museum exhibit in the Netherlands!

We are now traveling to only one event a year which is a large international SCA event in Pennsylvania called Pennsic.

As a result of limited exposure, we have decided to open this Etsy shop, not only to offer our regular fare but also as a way to reduce our stock of items that are being discontinued and are on clearance.

I have always been an artist! I've worked in many mediums, from pen and ink drawings for books to costumes for historical enthusiasts. My works have been in exhibits, museums and theaters.

When I joined the SCA in 1990, I was naturally drawn to the Arts and Science portion of the society and I have the privilege of being a Laurel for my work in Renaissance Dress Accessories and have taught many classes on the wide range of items this general category covers.

Making accessories became a natural evolution in my research and desire to make an accurate period ensemble because many of the items needed just were not available, especially things like "fleafurs" and "flag fans" so I decided to make them myself.

Then, about 10 years ago, jewelry became my focus and has grown into a separate entity. I have also just started a website called Jagwire Jewelry (and another Esty store!) which has the jewelry that doesn't fit into the historical aspect of our business except for a few pieces in the New World Treasures and Ancient Echoes - Egyptian sections.

We hope you enjoy our products as much as we love researching and making them!
