Welcome to my backyard studio! Sit down, grab a cup of coffee and stay awhile. If you love all things farmhouse and handmade this is the place for you. I know farmhouse style is trendy right now, and that’s good, but I think farmhouse style transcends trendiness taking us back to our homespun roots and offering cozy comfort and pops of color in a hectic world.

My inspiration comes from my goofy and much-loved flock of backyard chickens (which you can follow at pamsbackyardchickens.com), my gardens and the wildlife surrounding my home. I also find inspiration while I browse the aisles of my local antique shows and stores. My favorite finds are vintage farm pieces that harken back to a bygone era. My heart stops when I find an old farm feed sign or a metal egg scale. That’s when I’m likely to throw caution to the wind and pull out my pocketbook.

Outdoors activities are my jam. I’m at peace in a kayak in the middle of a lake and equally at peace birdwatching with my husband and kids.

You may be asking about crochet. That’s my other peaceful place. I find it soothing to work through the rhythm of stitches and love to see a project come together. I’ve made crochet pieces over the years for family and friends and was often encouraged to sell my work. As you can see, I’ve made the leap and here I am! Hopefully, you’ll love my handmade pieces and will add them to your collection.
