I couldn't help myself and ordered 3 of these GORGEOUS mugs. I had intended on keeping 1 and gifting the others, but now that I've seen them in person, it's not gonna happen. The fact that they are dishwasher-safe...BONUS. Part sculpture, part home decor, all fabulous.

We've got a new studio mate! Meet Rosie! The sweetest little rescue pup hat ever was. She loves the Peach mug best as illustrated by this pic ;)

I'm so excited to finally add the Modern Ring Cones back to the shop! The holiday Real Simple Magazine feature wiped them out, but now they are baaaaaaack!

Paper & Clay

My name is Brit McDaniel, and I'm the owner and artist behind Paper & Clay, a modern handmade ceramics design studio. My studio is located in Memphis, Tennessee, and consists of myself and my fabulous customer service super hero, Allyse!

I love making beautiful, functional ceramics that can be used everyday. My hope is that each Paper & Clay piece will make a meaningful addition to someone's home and add something special to their routine.

Welcome to Paper&Clay! My modern pieces are functional and utilitarian, and are inspired by classic American and Scandinavian designs of the mid century. Each piece is hand-thrown, glazed and fired with careful attention to detail. Please feel free to contact our shop with any questions! Happy shopping!

Shipping
All *in-stock* orders will be shipped within 3-5 business days. Orders are shipped via USPS priority mail, and domestic orders generally arrive 3 days after shipping.

If you would like to upgrade your shipping (RUSH, UPS or FedEx) please contact me before you make your purchase. I am happy to accommodate you if I can.
Refunds and Exchanges
Contact me within **7 days** if there is a problem with your order. If your order arrives in a million pieces, don't worry, I can help! The sad truth is, USPS is hard on packages. No matter how many layers of bubble wrap I pack in, they always manage to break something now and then. If this happens to you, here's what you do:

1. Immediately photograph the package and the broken piece(s).
2. Contact me ASAP to let me know about the mishap
3. Rest assured that a replacement will be on the way just as soon as possible.

All sales are final, but if you are truly unhappy with your order please contact me within 7 days and we will work something out. I love my customers and want you to be thrilled with your purchase!

Due to the delicate nature of handmade ceramics, I cannot be responsible for broken pieces months down the line. Breakable things unfortunately sometimes break. My pieces are made to be durable, but please use care. See the listing for care information specific to your piece, and remember that even though my pieces are dishwasher safe, handwashing is recommended for the longevity of your piece. If your piece breaks within the first week, it was likely damaged during shipping and I am happy to replace your mug in those instances.
