Have you ever walked into a Joann's and thought, "OMG!" That would be me. Every time I walk into a store like Joann's, ideas of craft projects just flow through my mind - overwhelming my brain until I get a headache. But this process is so addictive, I keep having to visit a craft store at least twice a week just for kicks.

Growing up, my mother was the creative artist while my father was the boring basic scientist. Quickly, I learned that I needed to support myself and my hobby by getting a job in the scientific field. In my spare time, I would craft in my room and in the living room.

Now, as an adult with my own place, I still continue the tradition of crafting in the living room. Because of my well known creativity and thriftiness, my friends often turned to me for party invitations, unique gifts, party favors, home decor, etc. While working for my friends for free, all of them kept stating that they had visions of me owning my own boutique where I could display my work. With that, I started Paper Hearts Petal. I hope to take this shop beyond Etsy and actually open up a physical mortar-and-pestle boutique in sunny Southern California.

The story behind the store name:
I love working with paper and flowers. So I combined my thoughts of " Paper is in love with flowers...." to Paper Hearts Petal.
