The Paperink Graphics Journey

The journey began with collecting pencils. All those different colors, sizes and shapes of the pencils were fascinating! And pencils needed pencil cases: wood cases, plastic cases...old cardboard boxes!

Then came an avid interest in worldwide postage stamps! Attending stamp shows on Sunday mornings was equivalent to opening the door to an old time penny candy store...where to begin? So many stamp dealers...so many stamps! Now we are stamp hoarders and quite comfortable with this positive and educational collecting obsession.

Naturally along with stamps comes an interest in vintage postcards! The engraved 1 cent stamps on the back of the antique postcards were interesting and the graphics on the early holiday postcards were beautiful...like little pieces of artwork! And ephemera...bits and pieces of paper from the past...who could resist? And there you have it...the beginning story of Paperink Graphics.
