Welcome to Paper Peach! We make you happy by providing a cheerful experience and paper goods that break through the sea of sameness. Each piece is designed with love by independent artist, Nicci Wiedman. That's right, your lovelies are designed by someone with a pulse! (Although Nicci does have machine-like qualities, but that's another story.)

Using fine paper stocks and superior printing methods all while decreasing our environmental impact is a no-brainer. Tree-hugger alert! Paper Street Press even partners with a print shop who has planted more than 5,000 tree seedlings.

"I am so honored to find a way into each of your happiest occasions, from weddings to baby showers. I can't wait to make printed joy with you. Welcome to the family!"

About

I dream in paper.

[ THE PERSON BEHIND THE SCREEN ]
I am married to a super-supportive man who is also a total computer geek. When he isn't designing apps, programming websites, and being the best daddy EVER, Kyle plays MTG and bowls a mean game. Kyle can make the best chocolate chip cookies — from scratch!

In my free time {HA!} I love painting rooms in our house, making decor projects from Pinterest, making Isla & Reya giggle, and going for walks {only if the weather is REALLY nice}. I love animals and have lots of them. Lucy is an 80-pound lapdog golden retriever. She loves strangers. Marley is a loyal chow-chow-golden-retriever mix. Marley hates thunderstorms, rain, wind, and power tools, but loves snow! We also recently adopted the {CUTEST} little cat in the whole world, Em Dash. You can see her pretty face on our Facebook page.

We live in West Lafayette, Indiana near Purdue's campus (Boiler up!). We had the most adorable baby girl, Isla Christine, during the hot hot summer of 2012, and have been laughing ever since. Isla was a huge inspiration in opening my shop. She is so funny, energetic, and she really grows WAY too fast. In 2015 we welcomed our little Reya "Roo" Valentine. She is so sweet and is growing too fast!

I opened my little shop because I wanted to share my shower and birth announcements that I created for my Isla. I am flattered and surprised by how much my shop has grown and the number of people that I am able to reach.

Life is about the things you create, and who you create them with. I create unique pieces that set the tone for an event or freeze a moment in time. I help spread the love! I love print. I think paper is sexy. The concept of receiving a paper goods in the mail is an intimate exchange that should be cherished. I think that print is more important than ever, not despite living in a digital world, but because we live in a digital world.

[ MY CREATIVE PROCESS ]
A lot of my designs were custom-designed from scratch for friends, family, and other people who were looking for something special.

The beginning stages of a design begins with researching trends (thank you, Pinterest!), seeing what color schemes are really popular, combing through my {MASSIVE} font library, and/or implementing something that I've been chewing on for awhile (couldn't wait to create that mini accordion fold holiday card!).

Once I have a good idea for the format and design, I usually skip sketching, and go straight to the computer. The magic happens with the typography. Most of my designs are inspired by type, and this is typically where I start. Once I start, I really get focused, and hours can pass without even realizing it. This is called design nirvana, and if I can get here at least once a week, I am happy.

Once I have something pretty good, and I feel like I could stop, and send it to you, I keep working on it. I add little flourishes, dots, lines, extra space here, maybe a line break here. I really want it to be perfect before I show you guys.

Next, I wait to see what you think. Most of the time, you are really blown away, but usually there are a few things you would like to change, and from there, we'll work together to create something that really makes you happy and proud when they look at it. It's an honor to work with you to make invitations and paper goods that make their way into the homes of your closest friends and family.

Once the design has been perfected, I'll send the printable DIY file to you, or I'll send them to print. When preparing the files for delivery or printing, I create a high-resolution file. Yes, the file is huge, and takes forever to download, but it will be worth it in the end!

If you have ordered printed cards, I utilize a professional print shop that is employee-owned, earth-conscious, and based right in the heart of the US. They employ state-of-the-art technology for digital printing, they recycle, conserve energy, and they have teamed up with Trees Water & People to support their Reforestation Program. Nearly 4,000 seedlings have been planted! Once your file has been received, it is reviewed by three pre-press experts before printing. With digital printing, plates do not need to be created. Because there is no plate, there is no by-product waste from creating a plate or the waste of the plate itself. Plus, digital is fast! Your design will be printed promptly using non-toxic dry inks on paper that has been approved by the Forrest Stewardship Council of the US. Once your cards are printed, they are inspected for quality, wrapped for moisture protection, and carefully packaged. Then they are shipped to you via freight or plane; printed joy right to your front door! Now, isn't that something?

What is the stamp timeline?

1–2 business days

I am in a rush! Please help!

We offer rush orders here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/192908838/rush-order.

You'll receive a proof within 12 business hours. Please keep in mind that this DOES NOT include rush printing and/or rush shipping. Please contact me for those estimates.

Can you change this font and size?

Many inexperienced designers create pieces that allow customers to "pick a font." I don't work like this. I spend a significant amount of time finding the PERFECT font for each piece. I have found that when my clients have requested changes to the font, 99% of the time, they go back to the original.

Because of this, I do not offer a chart with a bazillion font options for you to sort through and choose. If you need a font change, I am able to accommodate, but I need to know the name of the new font, and there will be an additional charge for the customization.

There will be an additional charge for sizing changes. Please contact me for an estimate.

I need to cancel my order

Because we begin processing your order as soon as you have ordered, there is a cancellation fee of 25%.

We spend a lot of time creating your custom proofs, so we do offer a cancellation fee to accommodate our loss of time in creating the design.

I ordered a digital/printable design. What next?

We'll use your details to create your design. You'll receive three complimentary proofs to make sure you love the design. Once approved, we will send you the high resolution file. By default, we send pdf with .125" bleeds and crop marks because this is required by most pro print shops. If you have different specifications, we can accommodate, please just let us know in advance.

I'm concerned about my colors.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that what you see on your monitor is what the printed invitations will look like exactly. This is an inherent limitation with digital printing and the differences between each monitor.

I just found a typo!

We offer a complimentary proof on stamps and three complimentary proofs on guestbooks and invitations. We are not responsible for any errors or typos that were approved by you during the proofing process. Please proofread very carefully!
