Reminding people to stay young, one painting at a time.

It all started in the third grade. I'd had a couple years experience on my back in finger painting, macaroni art, and handprint stamps on mugs I'd given to my mom for her birthday (and christmas…and mother's day…), so obviously, when my teacher asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I said, "A stand-up comedian." A year later, I said, "An egyptologist." I really didn't settle on artist until I realized that I'd never have to take a math class again.

Since then, I've gone back to my roots and perfected my use of safety scissors and eating paste. When I'm not checking out new brands of non-toxic craft glues, you can find me walking dogs in the neighborhood, running races I haven't properly trained for, and cranking out more recipes in my crockpot than your mom.

In the past few months, I've become so busy I've had to hire a couple of feline assistants, King Tut (see, I told you I wanted to be an egyptologist) and Baker. They help with eating scrapes of paper I've dropped on the floor and making sure my keyboard still works by breaking it every few weeks. Thanks, guys. I don't know how I'd do it all without you.
