My name is Deb and I design and make the jewellery for Papillon Blue from my home in Sydney, Australia.

My love of jewellery making began when I was unable to find the type of jewellery that I wanted to wear. I happened upon a craft shop one day, where I purchased a bargain bag of beads and a handful of findings, and went home and made my first bracelet. This was swiftly followed by another bracelet, then another and another, then a necklace and some earrings. It all just snowballed from there!

It eventually dawned on me that making jewellery was the creative outlet that I had been searching for, and so Papillon blue was born.

I am very interested in the natural world, having studied for a degree in Zoology at university, and so it is the natural world, along with my beautiful daughters that continue to inspire me as I follow my jewellery making path.

I want my jewellery to take you on a journey through nature, to lift your heart and inspire your mind.

Above all, I want you to enjoy wearing your piece of Papillon Blue Handmade Jewellery.

Please bear in mind that due to the handmade nature of the jewellery at Papillon Blue, there may be slight differences between the photographs on the website and the items supplied. Natural gemstones and pearls are all unique, and do vary slightly in colour, shape and size. I feel that these differences only add to the charm of the pieces, and make each one special and unique. If the particular appearance of the piece you would like to purchase is important to you, please contact me and I can supply photographs of the actual piece of jewellery that I will supply.

Please also bear in mind that colours may appear different due to the colour settings on your monitor. I take all of my photographs in good daylight to try and portray an accurate representation. None of the colours in my photographs are digitally altered in any way.
