Growing up as the oldest of 11 brothers & sisters, creativity & thriftiness were two main ingredients in our house. My father the bread winner of the home and could stretch a dollar as far as it could possible go. I remember growing up going to garage sales, flea markets & antique stores.

One item I remember very clearly was in an antique store we stopped at while on vacation. There was a small dainty ring made of a woman's hair. The shop owner told us that back during the Revolutionary War the women would weave a lock of their hair into a ring to give the soldier they love as a fair well gift.

I remember thinking how beautiful & special that ring was , and how much love was intertwined within the lock of her hair. I discovered the true beauty of handmade that day.

I have been creating & discovering since I was a 12 year old little girl wondering around that that antique shop. Looking at all the precious items & the stories they told.

To me handmade is much more than merely the name....its a passion, a desire, a life, a love, a piece of the creator.

I have had the pleasure of sharing my items around the world beginning with my home town & traveling as far as the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Spain, Romania and more.
