What was first an experiment in jewelry making utilizing beautiful & healing natural materials to give to my loved ones as gifts has turned into a conscious design jewelry venture.

I use gemstones, rock, wood, bones, horn, feathers and other items from nature to create beautiful items with spiritual & metaphysical healing properties.

Each item is carefully and intuitively designed, then lovingly created by my own two hands.

I grow lavender in my home garden using organic methods and wrap the wands myself. These are available seasonally; custom orders also available seasonably. Please contact me for info on harvest dates and availability of completed lavender wraps.

I buy locally made and locally sourced supplies whenever possible.

I reuse and recycle as much as I can so that Para Curar Designs carbon imprint is as small as possible.

Because I believe nature has a lesson to teach all of us, I pay attention to what each stone means and like to take the spirit of each material into consideration in my work. I also pray for the healing of the person who will be wearing my jewelry when making each piece. Each piece is made with the conscious intent for healing. In this way, I believe I am doing a small part in making the world a better place.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Returns and exchange details
Refunds are offered on items (exception: pearl knotted jewelry and any type of custom order items) if 1)buyer contacts me within 3 days of receipt of item(s) requesting a refund as well as a statement about why the order was returned and 2) returned within 14 days of delivery along with reason for return. Item(s) must be returned in their original condition in order for the buyer to receive a full refund.

**Please note that due to technological differences in devices that are used to view my work that are completely out of my control, items may look slightly different in person than they do on your screen. Each item for sale in my shop has written descriptions of the color(s) of said item. If this description differs significantly from the color you’re seeing on your screen, please contact me PRIOR TO PURCHASE to gain clarity on the color of the item(s) in question.

Refunds are *not* offered on pearl knotted items due to the delicate materials and extended time period it takes to make them. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of all customers/buyers. Take a measurement prior to ordering to ensure you get the desired length (NOTE: measurement for jewelry *always* includes the clasp).

***Buyer/customer is responsible for ensuring they receive the correct length for their jewelry item(s).***

Buyers are responsible for ensuring all items are returned in appropriate packaging to prevent damage to item(s) during transit. I encourage using the original packaging and, if this is no longer in your possession, I suggest using a box with bubble wrap to protect the item(s).

Buyers are responsible for shipping fees for returned product(s).

Refunds are NOT offered on custom orders. No exceptions.

Refunds are not offered for items that are still in transit, items that have obviously been used (like burnt smudge bundles, scratched/bent jewelry items, etc), or items that are not in their original condition upon return (damaged in some way). Buyer/customer financially responsible for any damage incurred.

If you would like to cancel your transaction, you must do so *before* the item has shipped. I cannot cancel a transaction or offer refunds if the order has already been shipped.

While I package items with great care and do everything within my power to prevent damages from happening to my products during the shipping process, please be aware that I cannot control the individuals and machines involved with shipping items to any location. In other words: Para Curar Designs is not responsible for damages incurred to your purchased item during the shipping process.

Please request insurance to protect your investment (purchase) if you are concerned about items being lost, stolen, or damaged during shipping.

If you would to like to insure the item(s) you purchased in order to protect your investment, please contact me *prior to purchase* to find out additional costs, shipping time, etc.
PayPal is accepted, as is direct payment with a debit or credit card via Etsy.

Please submit payment within 5 (five) days of your order. Failing to do so will result in cancellation of your order.

Please allow up to one week for processing of your order after payment has been received. I will personally send you an email to verify to verify that your order has been shipped.

Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been shipped.
US Postal Service AKA USPS. Most items are shipped as First Class mail from Portland, Oregon, USA. Other arrangements can be made on a case by case basis. Please message me if you would like to set up other shipping arrangements.

Items will be shipped in 3-5 business days. Items shipped via USPS to United States addresses come with tracking information for your convenience. You will be notified via email once your item(s) have shipped. Once the item is in the care of the United States Postal System, it is out of my hands and, thus, I cannot guarantee the arrival of the product. Please make sure you have requested the shipping services that you would like (such as insurance or signature required for delivery on your item) before completing your purchase.

If you would like upgraded shipping (including tracking information, insurance, etc), please contact me for fees related to each additional service. I will create a custom listing for your specific shipping preferences.

JEWELRY REPAIR: Buyers assume responsibility for all shipping fees related to jewelry repair.

Custom orders require a deposit of 50% of the final product price. Once the listing for your custom item has been posted, please place the order & submit payment of the balance of your order within 7 (seven) business days. If, after 7 days, the item has not been purchased (or arrangements have been made with the store to delay final payment), it will may placed in the shop as an in-stock item and will be available for public purchase. Deposits are *non-refundable*.

Please be aware that ALL custom items come with insurance and tracking information, for your protection and mine. This cost is non-negotiable and you won't regret it; I promise! :)

In order to receive the correct size jewelry, please TAKE A MEASUREMENT with a measuring tape and include that info in the notes section during the checkout process. I will need *total length* of the piece (which always includes the clasp) that you want in order to make it. Please contact me if you need assistance measuring your wrist, ankle, or neck in order to determine the correct length. Measuring incorrectly means that your jewelry might not fit. Purchase of any item (custom or in-stock) from my store means that the customer accepts responsibility for taking correct measurements *prior to ordering*.

All sales final on custom items. Refunds are not offered on custom items; no exceptions.

Sizing details

Is the clasp included in the length of jewelry items?

YES, the length listed for each item *always* includes the clasp. When requesting a custom item, you will need to take an accurate measurement for whatever body part will be adorned by your chosen jewelry item (wrist, ankle, neck, etc). This measurement must be the total length that you want your item to be.

How do I know what size ring to order?

In order to get the correct size stretchy gemstone ring, you'll need to know your actual ring size, then order the size range that best fits that size. I make and list rings in US ring sizes.

If your ring size is 6.25 (6 1/2), you should order size 6/7 *or* a ring in the closest size available to your own size.

If your ring size is an even number (example: size 7), you should order the size range which would best fit your finger on an average day. If your size is 7 but, for example, have a health condition that causes swelling or bloating, you should probably order a size up (size 7/8) instead of a size down (6/7).

Average size for bracelet is generally considered to be 7 (seven) inches. However, "average" does not fit everyone! I've made adult bracelets that range from 4 inches to 10 inches. Hence, the need to take a proper measurement.

Necklaces range in length depending on style, personal preference, and, of course, body size/shape. Hence, the need to take a proper measurement.

Care instructions

Do not use chemicals, soap, or any other substance with your gemstone jewelry. If it needs cleaning, simply wipe with a cloth.

If you purchase an item made with silk or polyester cord, do not get it wet and do not pull or tug on it. Getting it wet will cause it to stretch. Pulling or tugging on it will cause it to stretch and possibly break (which is a safety feature for these items).

Refunds are not offered for items broken due to pulling/tugging. I do offer to re-string these items for $8-$25 per item. This pays me for my time as well as covering any beads or other items lost when the item broke.

Custom and personalized orders

I require 50% deposit for all custom items. No exceptions. The balance, plus shipping, is due upon completion of the item(s). You will be sent a message via Etsy upon completion of your custom item.

Failure to pay the balance, plus shipping, within 7 (seven) days of listing date means 1) you forfeit your deposit, 2) you forfeit any claims to said custom item(s), and 3) these custom items will be listed in my Etsy store so that they are available for purchase by the general public.

You may pay 100% of the cost of the item, plus shipping, upfront if you choose.
