Parallelbotany says: Welcome aboard! I like simple practical and decorative items made with odd fabrics and ephemeral finds.

I make all items myself in my home-based studio in Inwood, which is at the upper tip of the island of Manhattan in New York City.

A smoke-free environment with one resident dog.

Returns and exchanges
If you are unhappy with an item, please let me know before leaving feedback, and I will try to rectify the situation.

In the event of a return: Unless you were sent the wrong item in error, all shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Items returned will only be accepted with my prior approval, within 7 days of receipt, and in original, unused condition. I am not responsible for any returned items lost in the mail; therefore Delivery Confirmation is recommended.
I currently accept PayPal only.

Payment is required immediately upon checkout. I reserve the right to cancel unpaid transactions after 24 hours and put the item(s) up for sale again. If you need more time, please contact me before checkout, and I can make a reserved listing for you. Reserved listings expire after one week.

If you are new to Etsy and are having trouble figuring out the checkout process, please contact me right away and I will happily assist you.
Orders ship within 2 business days to confirmed PayPal addresses. You will receive email notification once your order has shipped. If for some reason there is a shipping delay on my end, I will contact you and let you know about it.

U.S. delivery: usually 3-10 business days.
International delivery: variable.

International customers are responsible for paying any duties or taxes imposed by their countries' postal authorities. And remember: parallelbotany ALWAYS puts the actual price paid on customs forms!
Additional policies and FAQs
I tend to use vintage and unusual materials purchased in small lots, so it's often impossible for me to exactly recreate items. If you see something that has sold that you are interested in, please contact me, and I'll see if I can make another (or something similar) just for you.

No wholesale and no consignment at this time.
