Where Print and True Love meet

Parcel Island is a stationery and lifestyle boutique based in Philadelphia, PA; owned and created by Carley Hussain. With humble roots in the wedding industry, Parcel Island LLC officially launched as a greeting card and stationery boutique in January 2019.

Our mission, a value we hold simple and true; is to provide designs and products that bring joy to people's lives. From quirky greeting cards to bold statement prints, we strive to provide quality and timeless designs that brings a smile to the masses.

All products are designed and made from our small studio in Philadelphia, and our promise is to give you design we are proud of, 100% made in the USA.

Cute and Crafty is what we aim for! We offer unique, customizable stationery to meet any of your needs! If you like what you see, but did not find a design for your particular occasion, feel free to convo me and we can discuss a custom listing (additional fees for design may apply).

If you like one of my designs but want to make changes to it, please contact me before purchasing.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
It is very important to me that you are happy with your order! If you are unhappy with your design at the proofing stage, a 50% refund will be issued. You must let me know if you are unhappy upon receiving the first proof. Once additional proofs are sent, and/or the high-resolution file has been sent, no refunds will be issued.

If you ordered printing from Parcel Island -- refunds are only given in instances of printer errors (streaks on the invitation, for example). Colors may vary from screen to screen, screen to printer, and from printer to printer. This is not unusual. Once you approve your design proof, you are agreeing that the colors and text are final, and I am not responsible for errors found afterwards.
Payment
Parcel Island accepts PayPal and direct checkout. I will begin work on your piece once you have paid for the item.
Shipping
Digital files are sent directly via email in the form of High Resolution PDF's and/or JPG. Email is other forms are required.

After purchase of listing, designs are sent within 48 hours to your registered Etsy Email Address. After the final approval of the design, printing time will take about 2-3 business days. Shipping is FedEx Ground, which can range from 3-7 days. Upgraded shipping is available upon request

So, how does this work?

1. Choose a design, and proceed to checkout. Email me or add a note that includes all of your information that you need on the piece (names, dates, addresses, etc). Please send your text exactly as you want it printed.

2. Once the payment is made, I will begin work on your piece. You can expect a proof within 24-48 hours. I will let you know if I need more time.

3. Reply with any changes, or give your written approval of the proof. If you have changes, I will send you another proof for approval. A reasonable amount of changes are included (as outlined in each listing). Additional proofs will result in additional fees.

4. Once you approve the design, I will email you the high-resolution file for you to print / email as you please! If you ordered printing through Parcel Island, I will get your files to my printer.

Please review your proofs very carefully. Check for spelling and grammatical errors, and correct dates. Once you approve your proof and I send your high resolution file, the order is considered completed.

Please keep in mind colors vary from computer screens to printers, and from printer to printer. Slight shade variations may occur, so you may want to print a sample before you order the whole batch. JPG and PDF files each use different color profiles, so they may look and print slightly differently as well. All files are professionally print-ready -- Parcel Island cannot be held responsible for any unauthorized altering of the file, poor print quality, or printing errors made by the outside printing source.

Two rounds of changes are included in your order. Excessive or time-consuming changes may result in additional fees.

For orders containing a photo, please submit photos that are 300dpi at the size you need it printed. Professional photos work best. Phone photos are generally not recommended. It is best to send the original photo taken from your camera. Parcel Island can not be held responsible for low-quality photos. By submitting photos to me, you agree that you are either the copyright holder or have permission from the copyright holder to use the photos. You also agree to take full responsibility for any misuse of copyrighted images, and agree not to hold me responsible for any misuse of copyrighted images. If your photos were taken by a professional, you must make sure you have the rights to use them.

Parcel Island owns all produced artwork. Artwork is for personal use only. If you order a design with a photo, I may relist the design using your photo (for listing purposes only -- other customers will not receive your photo).

DIGITAL PDF PRINTABLES
Q: Can I see a proof before I order?
A: Unfortunately, no. The price reflects the time it takes to customize a piece.


Q: What do I get for the digital item price?
A: You receive a high-resolution print ready file. You can print 10 pieces or 100 pieces -- that is up to you!


Q: Can my item be a different size, rather than 5x7?
A: Yes! Please contact me before ordering, as a $5 size change fee may apply. If you want to change the size after I have begun work on your item, a $5 size change fee will apply.


Q: Can I have the same design with 2 different party dates, for the original price?
A: If you need invites for 2 different dates, a $5 fee will apply for the 2nd file.


Q: I ordered a design, but can I switch to a different one?
A: Let me know ASAP if you prefer another design. If I have begun work on your first option, there will be a $8 change fee.


Q: I approved my proof, but later found an error. What do I do?
A: Let me know, and I can make your correction. A $5 fee will apply, and I will send new print-ready files. If you ordered prints through Design Craft Studio, you may order new prints, but Design Craft Studio is not responsible for the cost. Make sure to check your proofs very carefully!
