I love making cake and cupcake decorations! I take great care in packaging them before sending them out in the USPS loop, but unfortunately, I cannot control them once they leave me. Unless discussed otherwise, I ship via USPS Priority mail, which is 2-3 days, but it is NOT guaranteed. Dependent on when the order is placed, I ship within a 5-8 day window of your event to ensure they arrive on time. I cannot be responsible for shipping delays by the USPS, weather/disaster conditions, charges for redelivery or delays due to incorrect shipping information. Insurance purchased on shipping does not include time delays on non-guaranteed delivery; it covers lost and damaged packages.

DAMAGE:
Due to the nature of this product, some minor shipping damage is possible. Often, a little water can put bumped and disheveled pieces back together again. Please contact me if you have problems with your package once it arrives. I will do everything I can to help!

Should your package arrive beyond repair and utterly destroyed, please make sure you save all packaging, items in the order and take pictures too. I will provide the necessary information, and you will be responsible for filing the claim with the post office. USPS insurance covers boxes that have been "destroyed," minor breaks are not covered; they are considered to be the nature of shipping.

Because my items are made-to-order, I do not accept returns.

Refunds/Cancellations must be requested no less than 10 days prior to your listed event date. Returning or refusing delivery will not facilitate a refund.

I accept payment via Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express and Paypal.

MADE-TO-ORDER:
All of my decorations are made-to-order. I cannot start your order until payment is received and cleared, and I know your event date.

CUSTOM ORDERS:
Please note that custom orders need to be ordered and paid for in a timely manner. If your custom listing has not been purchased, I have not started making it yet, and it is possible that my calendar has filled up since we discussed your event. I do try everything I can to accommodate last minute orders, but I am a busy lady too!!

EVENT DATE:
When you order, please let me know your event date in the "Notes to Seller" at checkout. I do not ship orders until I know the event date.

RUSH FEE:
A rush order fee may apply for orders requested within 12 days of an event. Dependent on my schedule, I will waive these fees at my discretion. If expedited shipping is necessary, it will be included via a custom listing.

ORDERING TIME:
Made-to-order fondant decorations are shipped via USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days).
Paper/material cupcake toppers are typically mailed via USPS First-class mail. Shipping to areas outside of the USA are available; please contact me for a shipping quote.

EXPRESS SHIPPING:
Express shipping rates are money-back guaranteed if they do not arrive by the time stated by the USPS. The guarantee is for the shipping charges, not the cost of the fondant decorations. I cannot refund purchase price, only shipping charges for Express shipping.

SHIPPING REFUND:
Shipping that is not sent via the standard Priority box rates from USPS are estimated. If your actual shipping costs less than shipping paid, I can refund the difference to you after shipping minus a $1 box fee. Please contact me for a refund if applicable.

STORAGE:
Fondant is sensitive to extreme heat. It will not melt, but it may soften. Please try to have someone available to receive your fondant decorations if at all possible. If they do soften, put them in a cool place to revive.

Instructions will be sent with each order. Store your fondant decorations in a cool location away from extreme temperatures, moisture and direct sunlight/bright lights. The cabinet or pantry is ideal. Do not store in the refrigerator or freezer as fondant may sweat when removed.

ADDRESS:
Unless otherwise specified, orders are shipped to the address listed on your Etsy receipt, so please make sure the address is updated and correct.

If you would like your package shipped to an alternate address, please notify me prior to the stated shipping date via Etsy messages only.

Please supervise children with all decorations. Fondant decorations are edible but not all packaging materials are food-grade. Paper/material cupcake toppers are not edible and should be safely discarded prior to eating your treat.

FONDANT:
My fondant of choice is Satin Ice fondant. Allergen information from their website: Gluten free, dairy free, nut free. Contains no animal derived products (vegan). Certified kosher pareve.

Fondant will last a very long time if stored properly. But over time, it will become fragile and color may fade.

Please note that fondant will dry hard before shipping. Applying these decorations to your cake will not be like purchasing a fondant cake at a local bakery. Pieces will not bend around edges of rounded or other curved shaped cakes.
