Hobby crafter turned dyer.

I love fiber and crafting. Since young, i do well in crafting classes and my projects were displayed in school compound, thus i never get to keep them.

I started crochet and knitting when my older sisters did. I learned from the (one and only) knitting book they have and kept the book til this day. I crochet most part of my crafting life until the last 2 years when I wanted to make more knitwear. And from there, i love to see how a hank of yarn transformed. From a hank to a cake to a project. And how the colours come together with each stitch and then, in each row.

And I love colours. I will buy fabrics with lots of colours thinking I will make something out of it someday. But they are still sitting pretty in a pile and I enjoy looking at them. Same with my hand dyed yarns (and those I purchased from indie dyers), I enjoy looking at them.
Truth be told, I buy yarns without any projects in mind. Do you?

Can I request for a custom order?

Yes you can.

I accept pre-order for 3 or more skeins of the same colourway if it is not available in the shop.

I also accept request to dye to your specification. However, I do not copy colourway from other dyers.

For these types of order, please allow 1-2 weeks turnaround depends on the availability of the base you want.

What are the bases you carry?

As a small batch dyer, I like to try different bases so some may be a one off and some are seasonal depends on the demands of my customers.

The regular bases I carry are :
- 75% superwash Merino and 25% nylon
- 80% superwash Merino and 20% nylon
- 100% Superwash Merino
- 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere and 10% Nylon
- 100% New Zealand Polwarth

Care instructions

I always ensure that my hand dyed yarns are rinsed until the water is clear. But sometimes, there may be some residue from the dye during the first wash after you completed a project.

When washing your woolly project, use a delicate wool wash in lukewarm or cold water. Squeeze out excess water and lay flat to dry.

What is "misfit" and "OOAK"?

"Misfit" are batches that deviated from my original idea of a colourway. They are still good ol'yarn but may not be available as a repeated colourway or quantity.

"OOAK"is one-of-a-kind colourway that will not be repeated. I've either forgotten to jot down or misplaced the formula. Sometimes I will reformulate them but they will differ from the previous batch.

Why there are colour difference between skeins and dye batches?

Colourway may varies from batch to batch, especially variegated colourways. Some even vary skein to skein even if they are from the same batch. This is why hand dyed yarns are so special and unique.
I will try to keep the colourways as similar as possible but at times, there are need to change the dye processes or dyes that will result in the difference.

What are the services available for shipping?

For domestic orders (ie. Singapore) free shipping, it is standard postal service without tracking. If you would like to include a tracking service, please select the preferred shipping coverage.

For international orders, I am using standard postal service with tracking. However, no insurance for the package. If the package is lost or misplaced by the postal service, there will be no refund or replacement. If you would like to add insurance to the package, please select the preferred shipping coverage.
