About

Video summary: Check out this quick timelapse of me carving a block with an image of my pup, Jack. Linocut can be a time consuming and very physical process but the results are so worth the work! I am using Swiss Pfeil carving tools, Speedball linoleum and of course, Sharpie.

patches made by hand, from block to canvas

The idea of Patch Deadly was born as a happy accident in 2016, when I ran out of paper for test prints and tried printing on canvas scrap. By the holiday season, I had my first couple of patches ready to sell.

Patch Deadly is a one woman show. Every design is created by hand, from sketches to carving the block to printing the patch. Unlike most patch sellers, I am not mass producing or manufacturing my work. Each patch is unique and high quality just for you.

I am also committed to more ethical consumption: I use almost all scrap or repurposed fabrics and at least 10% of every sale goes to a good cause, from disaster relief to social justice organizations. Check the shop announcement for the current recipient.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders

I love my custom clients! Please read my custom patch listing thoroughly before you message me. Block printing, like all mediums looks amazing for certain designs and less ideal for others. I'll always be as honest as possible about my ability to deliver on a design because I want you to get a patch you're happy with.
I do reserve the right to refuse a custom commission. I won't make patches that promote racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic or any other oppressive views.
