I love this towel. I originally ordered in blue and she sent me the yellow by mistake, which was still beautiful. She wound up sending me the blue one too. It's well-made and I would buy these as gifts again! Thank you!

Gorgeous design on this towel. I am not sure how the paint of the design portion will affect absorbency. Also more of a linen feeling cotton than flour sack cotton type towels. I like that it is organic too!
Since 2010 Patch has produced hand printed textiles using organic and responsibly made fabrics. In my Fall 2015/Winter 2016 line I began to take this a step further by introducing dish towels, napkin sets and onesies that are not only sustainably made, but are made entirely in the Carolinas. My new fabric is spun, woven, cut & sewn locally using 100% US grown organic cotton.
Everything we consume has a story behind it. Where it was made, who made it, and what materials were used. Occasionally, these stories are transparent, like when we buy vegetables from a local farmer at the farmers market, but most of the time there is a lot more to it. I disagree with these practices and believe in telling the whole story behind my products.
The vibrant prints on Patch products are created from my hand carved block prints that are inspired by my southern roots and life in the Appalachians. The production of Patch products occurs within 70 miles of my Asheville studio from weaving the fabric to sewing and hand screen printing each piece. I am proud to support organic farming in the USA and the revival of the once thriving Carolina textile industry.
