5 out of 5 starsWOW! This necklace is gorgeous...just as pictured. Very high-end looking. Bought to wear with beige and charcoal grey long open front cardigan sweaters and jeans. Also bought her shorter beige one, which is super gorgeous as well. Helen is an artist for sure! And she answered my inquiry within a few hours. Love, Love, Love.

Button necklaces
Patchwork Jackdaw
Patchwork Jackdaw sells handmade jewellery made from unusual or recycled materials.
The first jewellery I made was a necklace created from my mum's box of mixed vintage buttons in 2005. I've been making button necklaces ever since, and I've also been experimenting with different materials, particularly those that are recycled, or donated to me -- I have a constant supply of fabric from worn out clothes, and I inherited a box of vintage yarns, so I started making these into fabric and yarn necklaces as a way of using the materials.
When I'm not making jewellery I'm usually to be found composing and recording music. I play viola, and having started making a few alto clef themed pieces of jewellery, I now have a second Etsy shop for my alto clef jewellery for musicians. It's at http://www.etsy.com/shop/BlingForStrings .
I also draw, and I have a shop selling cards and prints of my illustrations at https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/violaraptor .

I started making jewellery one day when I opened my mum's button tin and made a necklace from the contents, and I've been making things out of bits and pieces ever since.
