I am Sarah, an earring enthusiast, a wife, mother and Nurse! I make the earrings that I love to wear. I started Paterson Lane as a creative outlet to balance worklife and mumlife. I found myself with more earrings than one person should own and a strong desire to keep making so my Etsy store was established 2019. I make my earrings in my spare time so keep an eye out on my Etsy store and Instagram page @patersonlane for new releases and stockist information.

Each pair are small batch handmade which means no two pairs are the same. They are unique, often there is only “one off pairs” so don’t miss out if you see a something you like.

My earrings are safe for sensitive ears. I use quality stainless surgical steel ear posts and stainless steel wires, all other materials are hypoallergenic.

I am always open to CUSTOM made earrings so please get in touch if you have something in mind.

Care:
Whilst made from a durable material, like all jewellery treat with care.
Please store in a clean and dry area.
Avoid swimming and showering.
If makeup or dye from clothing rub onto the clay it can be cleaned with water and cloth. For more resistant stains that may occur, gently clean with rubbing alcohol or acetone.

About the materials used:
My earrings are made from a medium called polymer clay, a non toxic PVC plastic conditioned, moulded and shaped by hand to make the earrings of Paterson Lane. It is then cured in an oven to harden into the pieces you see. I then hand sand each piece, drill holes and assemble. Some pieces have foil and paint detailing and are finished with a matte glaze.

Packaging:
I am conscious about the packaging I choose to use and use recyclable products and no plastics. I use tissue paper and cardboard boxes with a biodegradable compostable mailer. My earrings are displayed on a branded cardboard card and put into a branded calico bag.

Each pair are handmade so there will be small variances in each pair. This is what makes them unique.

If you do have an issue with any purchase, please contact me so we can work towards a resolution. I don’t accept returns however I want all my customers to be happy with their Paterson Lane product so I will consider each individual case.

Shipping
I endeavor to post quickly once payment has been processed, however please allow 1-3 working days from date of payment for your delivery to be sent within Australia via Australia post.

If you wish to register or add express postage to your parcel please add this at checkout.

At this point in time I only post within Australia and to the UK. Whilst expensive, you can generally get 3-4 pairs of earrings included in this shipping fee.
Please get in touch if you would like postage outside of Australia.

I cannot be responsible for Australia Post once the package has been posted.
