Pennies from Heaven.....

An idea of making my own hand stamped items has blossomed into many creative ideas, but one that just started with a penny I found that I made into a keychain took off little by little.

Finding a penny is sometimes considered lucky and gives rise to the saying, " Find a penny, pick it up, and all the day you'll have good luck." And to others they are pennies from Heaven.

Each piece starts with an idea, a blank copper disc and pennies. As I start stamping one letter at a time with a stamp and a hammer it develops into a memory to cherish for someone that will carry it with them always.

I love creating a piece, that someone will love. For a new Daddy to carry a keychain with the baby's name or a soon to be husband or wife to get a sentimental keychain to mark their special dates in their life. Nothing is quite like when someone sends me a message with their story and the significance it will make to them. Some stories have been cute, funny, beautiful, sentimental, and some made me cry. I always cherish how a hand stamped item I hand made will bring happiness to someone.

Care instructions

CARE: Jewelry is fragile so please be careful with it. Clean your jewelry with a polishing cloth to help maintain the integrity of your sterling silver jewelry. Don't shower or swim with your jewelry on as it could potentially damage your piece. For 14K gold plated jewelry don't scrub. Polish minimally and use a mild dish detergent. Wipe gently with a soft cloth and store in a dry place, if possible, store in a closed container. So again, please be kind to your jewelry! For Copper jewelry and keychains.. To clean use lemon and salt to make them shiny, or you can also use a tbsp vinegar and salt..

Will a copper or brass item turn my skin green?

It can, sometimes acid in our bodies create a reaction that may cause our fingers to turn green with either brass or copper.

If you apply a layer of clear nail polish to inside of ring or on back of pendant it will create a barrier. Just remember you might need to add again.
