She did such an amazing job setting up my website!! I considered myself fairly web-savvy until I started trying to build my ProPhoto 6 site on Wordpress! Absolutely worth every penny to get assistance from Flying Muse. She went above and beyond to make sure I had a good site, and provided advice on things I had no idea about. A brand is like a diamond. If carved with love, will sparkle and amaze...

Even when you write an essay, assignment or book, the introduction to your piece comes the hardest thing to do.
While some authors prefer to write the book first, and the introduction at last, this is not possible or at least not simple when you start your own business.
Therefore, this page will now hold just a small piece of the whole puzzle.
However, in time, and with all different items published – the introduction will probably write itself.



While working for different agencies in the design field, I fell in love with surface design and how different textures and forms repeat themselves in various items. It is interesting, how one item is similar to another, only if you look at it from a perspective of base shapes which combined together form patterns. By repetition of shapes in patterns, and their application to a product, be it fashion, decor or art, you get the whole design. You give a life to an object.

At that time (1999), started to experiment and worked on different projects in the branding, graphic design and surface design field, helping mostly local apparel and product development companies to develop commercially desired items. My area of work involved graphic design and a bit later on web design as well, providing these companies ‘essential all service package’ – product design from scratch to finish supported by a complete branding package for launch and marketing of the product.

During the creative process and project execution, I used to find myself ‘in a corner’. When you design something, you design for the masses and observe things from commercial point of view. You ensure your design is salable. Although I love my work and all opportunities I had and have, like many designers, sometimes I find this limits my imagination and my true designer self. While working on corporate design projects has its own beauty, I longed for a place where I can express myself as a designer.

This is the main reason why I started the Flying Muse.

My name is Sandra, and I am a graphic designer with 15+ years experience. I draw by hand, paint digitally and love typography. I enjoy designing and create every single piece by my own hands. Designs available in my shop are my own creation and you will not find them anywhere else.

Alongside me, another person also has credits into developing my shop and is the biggest support and enabler to all my endeavors - my husband, Dejan. He is here to support the business, advice on designs I make and helps with all other things one business may need.

Therefore, I can freely say we are a team of two!

Accepted payment methods

For projects under $1000 total, full payment is due upfront. For projects over $1000, we offer a payment plan as follows:

We divide the project value is divided into 2 payments:

a. 50% non-refundable booking fee to reserve a place in our schedule due immediately
b. 50% due before the installation of the website and any files are delivered

You agree to clear the payments immediately upon receiving the invoice. Delays in payments may result in rescheduling the project.

Please note we proceed only after receiving the required payment. Since we process our payments via Paypal, please understand your payment needs to be confirmed from Paypal prior commencing any work.

All payments are invoiced in USD ($).

Shipping of digital files is absolutely free of charge.

As soon as PayPal processes the payment, ready made designs will be sent in no more than 2 business days or as described within the ready made design listing. Ready made designs are sent only after receiving payment and details needed to complete the design like business name, tagline, color choice or any other detail described within each of our ready made designs listing.

Delivery time, time frame, milestones & deadlines for custom orders are discussed individually.
Refunds and Exchanges
We’re doing our best to make all of our customers 100% happy and satisfied with the final results. If during the design process you realize that the project is not going in the direction you envisioned then you won't be required to cover the remaining balance.


A. Custom Designs

1. The 50% booking fee is non-refundable.
It covers the time reserved for your project and time we’ve already spent on it.

2. Once the design has begun (branding, stationary, web design etc.) and coding started (web design) – we will not make any refunds.

B. Ready made Designs

1. All Sales are final and are non-refundable.

C. Ready made Logo Designs & Mini branding packages

1. All sales are final and are non-refundable.
Additional policies and FAQs

You are hiring us to develop a project and agree to provide us with all the materials such as images, text and other information we might need, in the format we ask for.

You agree to review our work and provide feedback within 2 business days after we send the graphic proofs or online links for verifying.

In case of being late with supplying materials, providing approvals or clearing the payments within the time frames we’ve agreed upon, we are not responsible for the delay of the project delivery.

In the event that you won’t deliver materials that are necessary for project’s development or won’t provide feedback within the specified period of time we’ve agreed upon, we reserve the right to suspend your project and resume it in our next available spot.

If communication or requested files delivery from you lapses for more than 30 days, there will be a charge of $100 to cover the cost of holding your spot in our queue. If we don’t hear from you for more than 60 days, we’ll close your design project and will charge $200 to re-open your project as well your place in our queue falls behind current clients.

If we don't hear from you within 90 days from last communication, we will consider your project abandoned and reserve every right to use any work we produced.

For smaller projects of less than $200 total amount, the lapse charge for communication or requested files delivery of 30-days is 20% from the project amount, and if communication lapses for more than 60 days, the charge to restart your project is 40% from the project amount. All other terms apply as above.

For quick and easy communication we use e-mail for daily correspondence.
To make sure our emails are delivered without hassle and straight into your mailbox please add our email to your address book after we send our initial email.

We usually respond to general inquires within 1 - 2 business days.

Response time for ongoing projects is dependent on amount of work needed to complete each project milestone and current workload.


We only take a limited number of projects a month and book in advance.

Having a full content for your website / project ready before the project's start date and your response time during the design process greatly influences the final completion date.

We require each client to respond to our messages within 2 business days. This is required to ensure the project runs smoothly.

Due to the fact that there are many factors that have an impact on the finish date, we're doing our best to work in a timely manner but sometimes the project may take more time than initially expected.

All prices can be changed anytime without any prior notice.


Any information regarding your business that will be provided to the Flying Muse or its employees during the whole cooperation will be kept confidential and used only to complete the project.

You agree to keep the correspondence between you and the Flying Muse confidential and not share it or forward without our approval. All proofs provided by the Flying Muse during the design process may not be used or shared with third parties.

Colors on monitors and printers can vary a bit because the print comes in CMYK profile, and monitors display RGB.

For ready-made logo designs / ready-made branding kits we provide vector .eps and .pdf files along with a set of high quality popular formats (.jpg, .png), or as noted within specific listing.

For logo designs we provide a master vector .eps and .pdf files along with a set of high quality popular formats (.jpg, .png), or as noted within specific listing.

All of the marketing materials we designed are sent over as high quality, printable .pdf and .jpg files.

Other file formats and source files are available on demand and additional fee may apply.

We take care of installing the website on your server.



Upon the delivery of the project, the copyrights are automatically transferred to you. That includes the full content of the website.

the Flying Muse stays the owner of the code and graphics forever and licenses it to you for use on this project only. You agree not to sell, share or distribute the code and graphic elements in any way in whole or in part without a written permission from the Flying Muse.

You agree not to modify graphic elements in any way to create new designs that you intend to use either on the website or in any other marketing materials including, but not limited to business cards, brochures, ads, etc.


Upon the delivery of the custom design the copyright is automatically transferred to you. You agree not to sell, share or distribute the design in any way in whole or in part without written permission from the Flying Muse.

You agree to use the design as-is and only for its sole purpose. That means you will not modify the design in any other way than resizing, will not re-purpose it and will not use any of its parts to create other materials.

Our design process is very detail oriented which is reflected in every aspect of our work - a why it’s crucial for our reputation that all designs created by us remain in their original condition. By modifying our work you lower its quality and undermine the image of your brand as well as undervalue our competences.


You claim that you either own or have permission to use all the materials (like fonts, texts, photographs, graphics or other artwork) that you provide to use during the development process.

In case you are using materials that are licensed to you, please provide us with a copy of a license or permission to use it.

You agree to cover all costs, expenses and fees that we may incur as a result of any claims or disputes that may arise due to your lack of the ownership or permission to use of provided materials.


If not stated differently in the project documentation, the logo design package includes 1 concept and up to 3 revisions for the selected concept. The website design package includes 1 concept and up to 3 design revisions.

The number of revisions included in the package is valid till the completion/installation of the project.

Any modifications of previously approved and/or delivered/coded design will be invoiced at our regular hourly rates.

The quoted price for the project is based on the information you provide us during the initial phase. Knowing that this could be sometimes limiting, we’re open to including extra content or additional functionality during the project’s development. We require that you provide a need for such changes in writing. You will be charged for additional work at our hourly rate.

If the scope of the project will be altered significantly along the way, we reserve the right to amend the delivery date to accommodate the new required work.

Additional payments may be required before the final project payment.


On the websites we create, we include a footer credit with a link to our site. The credit is styled according to whole website design and you may not remove it as long as you keep on using the design. In case you need to remove the credit, notify us to discuss the additional cost of removal.

We reserve the right to display and share completed projects within our design portfolio or elsewhere for any marketing needs.


Both of the sides of the agreement preserve the right to terminate the project by providing a written notice.

If at any time you decide to terminate the project, you are not required to complete the remaining balance. In such case the already cleared payments are non-refundable.

In case we decide not to continue working on your project, we agree to refund full paid balance within 7 days of sending the notice.

Booking means acceptance of all terms.
