5 out of 5 starsGreat pattern. It fits my iPad perfectly and was easy to follow. Recommend if you want a fun little project that you can customise with different fabrics 😊

5 out of 5 starsI used the instructions, and changed the measurements to fit my Nintendo switch with the Hori split pad pro controllers. I never would have figured out how to make something like this without the written instructions. My previous sewing experience includes making maybe one pillowcase… so if a beginner like me can do it so can you! Great pattern!

5 out of 5 starsI can't wait to make this with my grandaughter. Looks like good instructors for a new seamstress.

5 out of 5 starsThis was a really easy-to-follow pattern and made good use of some hoarded discontinued fabrics! I made it to fit a 5x7 lighted magnifier for an older relative and it fits perfectly! Thank you for creating a useful and fun to sew pattern!

I'm having a blast!
I started my sewing journey in the third grade when I joined 4H and needed to sew a skirt for the fair. I was taken to my grandma's house so that she could help me. I'm not sure how much of the skirt I actually sewed, but it was the beginning of something.
About six years later, I picked up sewing again and did some accessorizing in my bedroom with pillows and curtains and such.
About ten years after that, I picked up the scissors again, sewing for my little girls and making bags for myself. Not satisfied with the patterns that I was using, I decided to try writing one of my own. That's it. That's how it happened.
I have many interests. I love sewing, playing around on photoshop and taking a few pictures here and there. Pattern writing allows me to use all of my interests at the same time. I get to play with fabric and my sewing machine and then play with my camera and computer. It's an ideal situation.
I hope that you can find what you're looking for in my shop. If you do, I'd love to see what you make with a Schoolhouse Patterns' pattern.
