Beautiful work, pictures don't do them justice. Patti is fabulous to work with!

Everything. The packaging was so well thought. I sent you a message on etsy. Not sure if you check those. I love your stuff
My studio is thinly disguised as a garage in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. Joey, my dog keeps me company while I work.
From my earliest recollections I’ve enjoyed “making stuff,” but always with a functional slant – beautiful traditional objects that could and would be used in some everyday way. In particular, I enjoy pattern-making and color and the challenges of incorporating these repetitive rhythms and tessellations into functional form. I’ve been interested in beads since childhood and consider them elemental. I especially like that beads can be both an end product as well as used as a means to an end when combined with other disciplines.
More recently, I find that glass beadmaking has naturally morphed into a broader category of glass working for me and is becoming one component in my repertoire of media that I now use to “make stuff.” By expanding on the strict definition of bead I find myself inventing ways to use glass components structurally that I can in turn combine into finished pieces using other art and craft techniques to create fully integrated, functional, beautiful pieces. Oftentimes this forces me “off-mandrel” or forces me to look at traditional beadmaking techniques in different ways.
From time to time my work has been recognized through awards and publications, in juried shows, books, and magazines, including on a cover or two. My beads have also been used by other artists whose work has been recognized similarly. A few pieces have also found their way around the world to find homes in museums and private collections. I’ve also been privileged to be invited to speak about beadmaking, to demonstrate my work, and to teach.
Owner, Maker, Designer, Maker Of Stuff
I've been making stuff since I could hold a crayon and hit a sheet of paper with it.
I help Patti make stuff, mainly by napping, and reminding her to slow down once in a while and smell the flowers.

If you live in North Carolina, sales tax will automatically be calculated and added to your total when you check out. If you have a resale license, you must give me a signed copy; convo me before you buy, and we can coordinate this type of sale. If you do not live in North Carolina, because I am not charging you sales tax, you still may be responsible for paying "use tax" to the state in which you reside. If you are not familiar with this, please contact your state or local department of revenue office.
I'd very much appreciate payment within 3 days of a sale; otherwise, I'll regretfully have to cancel the sale. For regular listings, I will ship within 3 business days from payment received, although usually I'm able to ship the very next business day. For »♥« MADE TO ORDER »♥« listings, please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. Please check with me if you need it sooner; oftentimes I have things in stock, or I can schedule extra time at the torch.
For international shipments, I always submit customs forms and describe the package contents as "craft supplies." This is a fair and honest description that seems to work well in all countries. You are responsible for additional customs, tariffs, VAT, and any other import fees.
If you would prefer a different shipping method or have special shipping needs, please contact me.
Insurance is extra, paid by you, and I highly recommend it as without it, you are responsible for lost or damaged merchandise.
Many times and to help ease the stress on the planet, I use clean recycled shipping materials. All items will be well-packaged with bubble wrap and padded envelope or if necessary in boxes. If you need other type of materials to be used, please e-mail me.
I'm glad to combine multiple orders into one shipment.
Refunds and Exchanges
If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase please e-mail or convo me right away, and I will work with you to set things right.
I offer full refunds when I am contacted within 14 days after your shipment is delivered. I will ask you to return the work to me using the same or like packaging, and in the same exact condition. Once I receive the item back in good condition, I will cheerfully refund your money less original shipping costs.
If you are unsatisfied with a custom order, please contact me, as my return policy may have to be more stringent.
