In 2003 I happened to take an introductory bead making class without ever having seen a lampwork bead. With great stress I produced a number of horrible fried objects. I was terrified, and completely useless. But there was no turning back; my curious passion for bead making was awoken and it has not slept since.

In my wooded, mountain studio I am driven to replicate patterns from nature – normal and cancerous cellular structure, and dangerous reptiles and plants. All of these elements share a common thread of fear, replicating the uncomfortable feelings that all artists share as they come to discover their own personal identity and message, and come to make and release their art to the world. Now, I melt glass to relax, and turn my beads into jewelry that reflects my beautiful surroundings.

I run this little labor of love with my own two hands, and am soley responsible for creating the art, photography, marketing, packaging, shipping, and customer service. And I love it, or I'd be doing something else.
