This bead is outstanding. Arrived very quickly. Inside was a coupon for further discounts which made me very happy. I order moderately and it always helps the purse 10?15% I cannot remember buy it works out to help offset shipping costs, I reason. It came in a beautiful cellophane pouch, which allows me to hold it up to the light. When looking at all angles it it just exquisite. Purples, pinks and blues.I love the wrapping, so I can see the angles the bead gives off while wearing. Thank you Paul, I LOVE it!

About

Glass Bead Studio the home of Paul Spencer

THE STUDIO

Located in Center City Philadelphia The Glass Bead Studio is home to the work of Paul Spencer. The Glass Bead Studio is a focal point of the areas flameworking community. I am dedicated to advancing the art and science of glass beadmaking as well as the creative use of lampwork beads in artisan jewelry. Glass beadmaking is an ancient art reimagined for today’s world.

MY STORY
I took my first glass beadmaking class in 2004 and from the moment I made my first misshaped little bead I was hooked. I still find the process of making glass beads as fascinating and mesmerizing as I did on that first day. I remember that my ‘beginners class’ included a take home supply kit in order to continue making beads. That day I drove away with my glass studio packed into a single shopping bag along with 10 brightly colored rods of glass and I knew that my life had changed forever.

Now when I watch my students experience lampwork beadmaking for the first time I see the same glow in their faces. At first they lose their fear of the torch and embrace the finely pointed flame. Soon I watch them gain confidence as they begin to melt and shape the primordial volcanic and mysterious substance that we call GLASS.
