Loving Rocks Leads to Lots of Fun in Retirement
I have always been drawn to rocks and, shortly before I retired, my husband and I joined a local rock and gem club. It was there that my husband learned how to cut and polish rocks and, once he had more polished rocks than he knew what to do with, he convinced me to take a class in wire wrapping. Someone took the time to show me the ropes (forever grateful) and I took it from there. Every pendant I make thrills me and makes me want to find more rocks to make more pendants. Now that we're retired, we spend our time finding rocks, making pendants, going to festivals to sell pendants and having so much fun.
