So many beads, so little time...

In 2009, Peacock Bead Shop opened its first location in a kiosk in a failing mall in Denver, CO. Over the next few years, I moved into first small storefronts, then a much larger one in the middle of the artwalk on Santa Fe Drive in Denver. After closing my doors in 2013, I began moving the shop online, and traveling and teaching at shows like Bead&Button in Milwaukee, which is where you find me now! I love Swarovski Crystal (vintage, and modern), and am a beadweaver by trade, so you'll find a lot of those offered here, as well as the best beads and findings. I only sell what I would use in my own work, so rest assured that you're not getting a "cheap" or "chintzy" product.

Greetings! The Peacock Shop is a single woman-run business located in Aurora, Colorado! I strive to sell only the highest quality beads and craft supplies, and to ship them in a timely manner. I am able to ship most items within 1-3 business days, though that time may vary for custom listings, so please check with me if you need a custom listing asap.

To my Canadian Customers: Though I promise to ship your items as quickly as possible, due to the rotating strike by the Canadian Post, I'm afraid that you won't get your package as quickly as normal. I'm so sorry, but it is unfortunately out of my control.

International Orders: Though I do my best to ship in a timely manner, and mark the customs forms properly so that they will sit in Customs for as little time as possible, there is little that I can do once the package is out of my hands, and has left U.S. territory. Sometimes Customs only takes a few days to process, but I've seen it take much longer, even months. I am not responsible for any delay due to Customs, or for any tax or duty that is involved.

Most of the time, my international customers choose to ship their packages via First Class service, which is the least expensive method, and it usually isn't a problem, but you should know that First Class package services have no guaranteed Tracking services, and it also means that your packages are not insured in any way. Basically, this means that, if you have ordered the item, and it gets lost or damaged in shipping, neither you, nor I have any way to get our money back for either the items, or for shipping costs. If you would like more complete Tracking, and insurance to recover your loss, please choose at least Priority Mail, which offers $100 in insurance and, if your order is worth more than that, you will need to add extra insurance during checkout to cover the extra costs. I apologize for the inconvenience, and the extra expense, but these are really the best ways to make sure that you can get your money back. I am not responsible for lost packages that have no guaranteed tracking, or insurance.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
Although I do my best to carefully pack your order, sometimes accidents happen once they've left my door! If your package is damaged, I will do my best to replace the damaged items, or refund your money if necessary in as timely a manner as possible. However, if your item has been clearly marked as 'delivered', but you haven't received the package due to theft, etc there is really very little that I can do if you didn't contact me about insurance.

I generally do not refund on downloadable items.

I accept credit cards through Paypal and Etsy! If you need to purchase in a different manner, please contact me to discuss the details.
Shipping
Your items will be shipped out within 1-3 business days via USPS. I am happy to ship outside of the United States, though shipping can take a while depending on where you're located. If you would like more complete tracking, insurance, to sign for a package, etc, please contact me ahead of time to see what your options are.
