Announcement    We are so happy you have stopped by!
In our shop you will find a variety of handmade goods and art all made on our farm in the hills of Kentucky.
We are the third generation in our family to work this piece of land. Instead of growing tobacco and raising cattle as those who came before us did, we grow flowers which we sell at the farmer's market in the summer months.
When we aren't cultivating flowers and vegetables we are creating art and handmade goods. You will notice there is a wide variety of items in the shop, we enjoy mixing it up a bit so we don't get bored.
Happy shopping, I hope you will find something you love!

Cultivating art and seeds on our third generation family farm.

At a young age I knew I loved to make art! My parents both encouraged and nurtured this creative side of me. My mother was quite a talented artist herself. She completed mail order art courses in the 1950's and 1960's which would be similar to an online course today. Mostly she was self taught. She loved to paint portraits. My father was quite the character, his personality was infectious. He was a sailor turned farmer. He spent 20 years collecting and cultivating stories of his travels all over the world before he began cultivating the earth on our farm. He could sew a story like he could sow a seed; plant it in your mind and watch it grow.
Sadly both my parents passed on a few years back. Before they left this earth they were able to see me successfully earn my BFA from NKU. I am grateful they got to be there to see all their years of encouragement and nurturing come full circle.
I live on our family farm with my two young boys and my husband Andy. We grow a large vegetable garden every year and have started a small orchard. We built our home using many pieces from a 150 year old barn that we dismantled. It was a labor of love and our hands have helped to shape every piece of it. When I'm not nurturing my artwork or my children I am nurturing our seeds and plants for a bountiful harvest. In the summer I also grow cut flowers to sell at the local farmers market. It's a lot of work but what a beautiful job!
I pour my heart into all my work,I hope you will enjoy it.

I grew up on a farm in the rolling hills of Kentucky. My family always nurtured and supported my love of art. I earned my BFA with and emphasis in Printmaking from N.K.U. in 2005. Currently I make art, raise my children and work on our farm.
