About

Little Miss Crafty

When I opened my PeanutOak etsy shop in 2009 I already had the experience in making lots of artistic things in several areas, because I’ve always been interested in doing so much, like pottery, wood engraving, glass painting, tile painting, jewelry, bags, knitting, crocheting, sewing, I guess since I was young, I always liked to draw and paint, and etc. So opening my first Etsy shop was the natural thing to do, when you have so much to show to the world ☺

I live in Lisbon, and it’s a wonderful city be inspired by ☺
My workspace can be described as ‘cozy’ (not to say packed with a lot of materials and stuff that drives my boyfriend crazy with the amount of space that I need). When I’m working usually it’s a mess, I like to call it an organized caos …

I love going out to buy and search for materials, it’s thrilling, and can take on severall hours to do so, just on the same shop, looking and searching for new things, new stuff and wonder what can I do with that. The supplies can be a starting point of the creative process and sometimes is the other way round.

I take care of my Etsy shop all by myself, sometimes my boyfriend goes to the Post Office when I don’t have the time, but that rarely happens (unfortunately).

My brand is my signature as a person, is a mirror of the story of my life, is who I am as an artist, it translates my tastes in several areas, such as movies, music, life, nature, everything I guess. And I like that.

I take proud on being very attentive to my customers or just to anyone who asks me questions, or have any doubts whatsoever, meaning, that I treat people just the way I like to be treated: with respect, care and happiness ☺

When I was little, I dreamed of growing up and becoming a hairstylist, a fashion designer, a painter or, of course, a ballerina. I realize now that those dreams had one thing in common - my desire to create new and exciting things!
