Art, Accessories, and Help for Etsy Sellers

I live on the outskirts of San Antonio, Texas, where we sip sweet tea and mint juleps while listening to the song of the cicadas and the cooing of the mourning doves. The sky is big and the sun streams into my work area where Frank Sinatra croons and Glenn Miller swings. I am lucky enough to live near a lake where I can go kayaking or sit on the dock and enjoy the view. And it's true what they say, the stars at night are big and bright deep in the heart of Texas! ☆☆☆

I am a multitalented self taught artist in bookbinding, painting, calligraphy, rubber stamp carving, and block printing. I am the sole artisan in my studio and I do it all: cutting, sewing, printing, painting, photographing, and packing it all up.

I love working leather, which is a material that has been used throughout all of history for durable, lasting quality. I use fine American made 100% cotton rag writing paper for my journals, both Crane's and Strathmore. In my family we have a saying "You can never have too many notebooks!", and I believe this is true. All of human history has been recorded in the equivalent of a notebook. You need one too so you can document your contribution to humanity. :)

I love to print and paint magical places I've been to, and places I want to go, and places you'll want to go.

I use both Stonehenge cotton rag printmaking paper for my prints and 140 lb cold press paper for my watercolors. All papers used in my shop are acid free (unless otherwise stated), so your art work will last a long time.

I primarily started linocut and stamp making because the process of printing without machines has always intrigued me. Over the years, I have carved many many blocks as well as hundreds of my own rubber stamps.

Over the years, I have developed passion for helping my fellow sellers, and as of 2017, I will be offering help for other Etsy artists. Stay tuned!

My work has been featured on Design*Sponge, the Nate Berkus show, and the Huffington Post.
