pebbleandfire's Shop Announcement

Welcome to Pebble & Fire!

Love and emotions are the main ingredients of my creations and of course clay!
I love to mix and experiment with different media: moss, needle felt, wood, glass, wire and…who knows!

Lately, I have been implementing metal in my designs, mostly copper, Sterling Silver, Silver filled, and steel.

I use the riveting technique, which is a cold connection (no soldering is done).
Rivets, in my case a copper tube or wire, are used to attach different elements which are locked in place by hammering them down; therefore, you can imagine that hammering on ceramic might be quite challenging.

In addition to metal, moss is a common element in my jewelry.
I love its pattern, the texture, sense of calm, and stillness. It is a reminder that we need to take care of us and the natural surroundings.

Why the name Pebble & Fire?

Pebbles are one of nature’s elements that fascinate me. Smooth and colorful with a unique texture that tells stories of the sea or lake or river. My pebbles reflect that uniqueness being one of a kind with a story to tell and thanks to the fire they become alive.
Inspired by nature, my pebbles represent element on, in, underground and underwater.

I try very hard to accurately represent my product through photographs and description, but the color of the image can vary widely from one computer monitor to another.

Please, avoid exposing your jewelry to water, chemicals, and impacts. This may cause the piece to alter its beauty or to break.

Touch…feel…wear your favorite pebble!

Thank you,

Cristiana
