Frequently asked questions
What to do after receiving the package? (part 1)

Open the box as soon as possible to let the plant get some air. Leave the plant to dry for 1-2 days before potting.
1. Prepare all tools, pot, soil, tweezers, mini trowel (or tea spoon)
2. Place a small piece of gauze to cover the draniage hole and put some soil into the pot.
3. Gently place the plant in the pot, using your hand or tweezers, then fill in more soil around the plant using the mini trowel.

What to do after receiving the package? (part 2)

4. Add some small gravel to the surface of the soil.
5. If the soil is moist, don't water, if the soil is very dry, only water a small amount around the edge of the pot, to moisten the soil. Do not water directly on, or near the plant.
6. Place the potted plant in half shade for 7-10 days to allow it to adapt to it's new environment, after which the plant should be ready for direct sunlight and proper watering.

Daily care: how to water?

Temprature 5-10C water once per month. 10-20C water once every 1-2 weeks. Over 20C water once per week.

Daily care: how much sunlight?

Sunlight is very important, spring, autum and winter, full day direct sunlight if possible. Be careful in summer incase of sunburn.

Daily care: How about air circulation?

If possible, provide good air circulation this will help the soil dry quicker.

Daily care: what soil to use?

Add grit to your soil to ensure good draniage.

Daily care: How to fertilise?

You can use a little slow release fertiliser, in the soil, but it is not essential.
