Great addition to my Chinese New Year decorations! It's quite a conversation piece.

Fabric, prints, paper goods, vintage items, and more, crafted and curated with "modern vintage" flair!

When I was 10 years old I had a small store in my bedroom, where I sold things I had made, from stickers (images drawn with marker on hand-cut Avery labels) to stationery, baked Play-Doh jewelry, and more. I would make weekly newsletters for my customers (the other kids in the neighborhood), and give out discount cards and coupons to "regulars". This was all before the age of home computers, when Pong was the only home video game, so everything was done by hand and on my parents' typewriter, and I liked it that way. I usually saved any money I made and kept track of it in a ledger, but sometimes I would "splurge" a little and spend some of it at the local drug store guessed it...penny candy!

After 20 years working in the design industry, I decided to go back to my roots and open up a "real" shop, where customers around the world are in my neighborhood, and I sell not only things I've made, but things others can use in their own crafty projects.

My work is usually bold and colorful, for at least two reasons: 1) In real life I'm a very quiet, private person, so the creative process helps me express a part of my personality that I might not show otherwise; and B) I live in Seattle, where the sky is almost always gray and the light almost always dim, so the more color, the better the psyche!

Welcome to my Etsy shop! Here you'll find prints, stationery and paper goods, fabric, vintage items, and more, crafted and curated with "modern vintage" flair!

When I was 12 years old, back in the early 1980s, I had a store in my garage where I sold handmade stickers and paper items. It was called The Paper Mill, and my customers were my sister and kids from the neighborhood. With my Etsy shop, I am going back to my roots, after years of schooling and work as a graphic designer.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
I accept payment by credit card or through PayPal only.

NON-PAYMENT: If payment is not received via PayPal within three (3) days of placing your order, the transaction will be canceled and the item will be relisted.
I generally ship on Wednesdays and Saturdays. However, if your package is small and flat, I am usually able to send it out the next day, as it doesn't require a trip to the post office. Please feel free to convo me BEFORE you make a purchase if you need something sooner.

SHIPPING CHARGES: Shipping quotes include cost of packing materials. Whenever possible, I try to use recycled materials, to help save us both money, and to help save the earth. If the amount you pay for shipping is considerably higher than the actual cost (e.g, in the case of multiple items purchased at one time), the difference will be refunded to you via PayPal at my discretion.

Regular orders (those that do not require overnight or 2-day delivery) are shipped via the USPS. Delivery Confirmation is included for customers in the U.S.; insurance is optional. I do my best to pack securely because I want your item(s) to arrive safely, however I cannot be responsible for loss or damage once the package has left my hands.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: If you are outside of the United States and don't see a shipping quote for your location in my listing, please contact me and I will email you an estimate. Please note that any customs fees incurred at the buyer’s end are the responsibility of the buyer.

I will provide you with a customs form number once your package has been mailed. Customs form numbers are not trackable within the U.S., but within some countries it is possible to track packages using this number, once the package has entered the country.
Refunds and Exchanges
All items are sold as-is. All sales are final and there are no exchanges.

Refunds will be issued only in an instance where an item was misrepresented. I will gladly issue a refund, minus original shipping costs, once the item has been returned to me, at the buyer's expense, within seven (7) days. I do not issue refunds in the case of buyer's remorse.
Additional policies and FAQs
CUSTOM ORDERS: I am more than happy to do custom work! Cost and delivery time will vary depending on the item and time of year. Please feel free to click the Request Custom Order button on the left side of the page if you'd like to discuss a custom project!

RESERVED LISTINGS: I will hold Reserved Listings in my shop for 30 days. After that time, the listing will either be made available to all customers, or removed.
