Handmade Pottery Mugs for Everyone!
Don't you love drinking your morning coffee in a handmade pottery mug? Can't you just feel the energy the potter put into the mug transferring to you as you sip? And it feels so good in your hands; warm, comforting and smooth. You have someone special in your life, maybe it's you, that needs a piece of handmade pottery.
My Etsy shop has what you need for gift giving or for your home. I make and sell mugs and other items for your home and garden.
I have been practicing pottery for the past 20 years in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. I've always loved buying pottery pieces, mostly mugs, wherever I travel in Canada. I like knowing the potter's story and finding out how they started their business. When I had the chance, I took my first pottery class and my obsession/passion was born.
Pottery has become a great passion for me where I can spend time in my studio alone, I can pass on that passion to new pottery students, I can offer my handmade items for sale on Etsy and at local art sales. Studying with professional potters and attending workshops has helped me develop my style and glazes. I'm also inspired by pottery I've purchased whenever I travel.
Since I'm a home-based business with low costs I can offer my homemade wares at reasonable prices. Please browse my shop and when you find something you like I'd really appreciate your business. If you've got questions send me a note or convo.
Thank you for shopping and supporting a small. homemade business.

Handmade Pottery Mugs
Who Wants One?
I make a lot of mugs. I even teach a class at the Prince Albert Arts Centre called Mostly Mugs. I collect other potter's mugs when I travel and I find the more I make the more ideas I have for form, function and glazes.

Additional policies and FAQs
Pottery custom orders are usually created from raw clay that I throw on my wheel or hand build. It can take up to a week to create your piece and then dry it completely. The piece is then bisque fired which takes 1 full day to fire the kiln and 2 days to cool off. The pot is then decorated, usually with food safe, lead-free glazes and this process can take 1-2 days, After decorating, the piece is kiln fired again which takes 1 full day to fire and 2 days to cool. The kiln I use is fairly large, so I need enough pots to fill the kiln for efficient firing and it can take the 2-4 month time-frame to build up that inventory.
I will do my best to understand your order, size, glaze colour and design elements. I may require a partial deposit, or order paid in full before I can begin a custom order. I will send pictures of the custom order as it's being created if possible. I also like to send pictures of the finished product before shipping to ensure the customer is pleased with order.
