About

I am passionate about needlepoint - I love designing, stitching, writing stitch guides, etc.

I started stitching 20 years ago in the Catskill mountains while in the bungalow colony one summer. The boring, beige over-sized canvases seemed old fashioned, and I refused to stitch those. As I gained experience, I realized my hobby was quite costly, so I started stitching on blank canvas. My husband, Barry, our in-house artist, outlined a design, and I stitched. He is also an amazing computer programmer and encouraged me to start my own business. Pepita is a Hungarian word for the houndstooth pattern, and to me it seemed similar to needlepoint stitches. So in honor of my Hungarian grandparents (All Auschwitz survivors), I named my business Pepita. I started small, and my business grew steadily over the past decade. Now Pepita is a brand name in needlepoint. My designs are published in needlepoint magazines, and although I am not on the Forbes Fortune list, Pepita is a valuable asset to the needlepoint industry.

Returns and exchange details
If you would like to return your order, you may do so within 30 days of its arrival. Simply tell us that you will return it using the Contact Form. When we get it back, you will be issued a full refund, no questions. It's that simple. You can shop with peace of mind, and rest assured that you will not be left with something you paid for but don't want.

(Note: custom orders cannot be returned. All items must be returned in their original condition. Customer pays return shipping fees.)
