Announcement   per-fid-i-ous, adj, treacherous, the deliberate breaking of faith, betrayal of trust.

A lifelong obsession with parody and satire, an unnatural interest in history, and a strange attraction to vintage photographs combine in works that are very nearly, but not quite, almost like antique jewelry of sentiment and memoriam. "Perfidious" is merely one of those ill-used old words that implies the untrustworthiness of the stories told by the jewelry.

Most of my jewelry contains Victorian-era French Jet beadwork and will be labeled as such. French Jet beads are made of black glass and were manufactured to resemble Whitby jet. All bugle beads and the slightly misshapen larger beads in these pins are French Jet and have been scavenged from disintegrating dress trims.

**PREVIEW OF NEW WORK!** I have a couple of new Steampunk pendants (copper and found objects) that will be posted by April 18, along with some other new items.

Remember--All custom work welcome. Do you have a favorite dead person (or someone you wish were dead) you'd like to emblazon your clothing with? Convo me for details and pricing.

The necklace exceeded my expectations, Severina was a dream to work with, and I'd repeat my purchase in a heartbeat as well as recommend her to anyone looking for a custom piece.

US shipping is already guess-timated and it usually winds up costing the customer less than it does me. Think of it as a teeny little discount.

For international shipping please email me your postal code so I can get a shipping amount to you.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
I accept PayPal but will only hold items for three business days while awaiting payment.

If you really want something I can hold things if you contact me first rather than using the PayPal button and waiting to pay.
Shipping
In the US I tend to use Priority Mail for jewelry and other higher priced items--the less time a package wanders around in the mail, the better.

Vintage patterns are sent out Media Mail and can take a week or so to arrive.

If you want insurance or need an item quicker, let me know when you place your order since I tend to go to the post office the first business day after I receive an order.
Refunds and Exchanges
If a shipment is damaged please contact me as soon as it arrives so I can arrange either a refund or a replacement.

For US shipments, since I use Priority Mail and those tend to take 2-4 days, please let me know if it hasn't arrived in a week so I can either refund you or replace the item.

If you are not happy with your order when it arrives, please contact me so I can arrange a refund or an exchange.
Additional policies and FAQs
I am happy to do custom orders. Contact me and we can discuss the details.

If you've seen an item but it has been sold I can make another like it. I may already be making up another similar piece so contact me.
