About

We make gifts and accessories out of materials that inspire. We believe that the best things in life are handmade.

It started with a nickname.

My biggest inspiration stems from my family - the name Periwinkle Lane comes from a childhood nickname given to me by my grandfather (the fact that it's a gorgeous color is a bonus). Also, my aunt is very creative as well, and one of my biggest role models. She started her own craft fair when I was in middle school.

"Do you want to sell any of your crafts?" she asked me. I was twelve years old at the time. She was gracious enough to give me my own table to sell fabric headbands, and that year I sold out. It must be easier to sell when you're still little and cute, but even if I outgrew the little-and-cute-marketing scheme, the entrepreneurial spark remained.

Multiple craft fairs and ventures later, Periwinkle Lane Handmade still seeks to provide its customers with the perfect gifts. I make my products, sneak in shopping trips, and ship out orders in between math classes here at school. It's an exciting season of life to be in! Thank you for being a part of it.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders

I love custom orders! To initiate a an order, please contact me through Etsy or through email (shop.periwinklelane@gmail.com). I will check to make sure your order ideas are a fit for my skills, and then I'll start making!

To arrive at an estimate custom order charges, take a similar item in my shop and multiply the price by 1.3 (30% more). Traditionally, I charge $15 extra for a calendar project and $4 extra for a wipeboard. The charge pays for time spent designing + new materials purchased. I will disount the extra fee if I have the supplies/design already on hand.

I will work with your circumstances to have the fastest turn-around possible. Expect a week to make your one-of-a-kind decor, but if you need it sooner, please let me know.

Care instructions

Your dry erase products are made from sturdy acrylic materials - most marks and smudges can be wiped clean with a tissue, cloth, or eraser. Use glass cleaner for tough marks.

Products are not fragile, but the acrylic surface will scratch if mishandled!

Magnets are attached to wood with superglue. Use a dry cloth to clean magnets if needed.
