A few of my quilts

My family - husband, Jared, daughter Cedi (5), daughter Capri (4) and daughter Persimoni 'Pip' (1) and me, Kim
Fiber Arts, Quilts and More - inspired by my dreams.
I have been creating as long as I can remember. When I was five I hand stitched a quilt for my brother using the fabrics from my mother's rag bin - including the toilet seat cover! I continued to create whenever the opportunity and inspiration struck.
In sixth grade my art teacher told my parents to buy me whatever art supplies I asked for because I wouldn't waste them. My parents listened.
I went to the University of Wisconsin, Madison and got a degree in Civil Engineering. I worked in the field for a few years until I realized I wanted to see my children grow up. Soon after that realization I 'retired' and became a SAHM. Although children are a lot of work - it did free up my creating time a bit and I started to really work at what I love - making things that make people smile.
Just five days after my second daughter was born I decided to open my etsy shop. It was definitely slow going at first but I decided to really try to make a go of it. Now - things are moving along nicely. I sell my items on etsy, at my apple orchard in the fall, and at various craft shows in my area. My kids are getting bigger and I can see their love for creating blooming and I can't wait to see how it progresses!
I am also proud to sell a few items made by mother-in-law, Diane. I lucked out when I married into an extremely talented family!
