    Stylish Knitting

I started knitting because I wanted to have keepsakes for my children. I also loved giving gifts to my friends whether they wanted a hat or not.
My tastes for knitting have changed over the years, and I found myself wanting to design.
Designing is challenging, but well worth the time.

I am a snobby knitter. I like my wool yarns and I don't mind buying a $35 sock yarn with cashmere. I think knitted items should be sexy and make the wearer feel amazing.

    2. Tuques started out as a hat made of velvet, worn by women in the 12th century.
    3. Tuque can spelled three different ways: tuque, toque, touque.
    4. There is a town called La Tuque, Quebec
    5. There is a website called
    6. A red tuque became a symbol of French-Canadian pride
    7. Michael J Fox said during the 2010 Olympic closing ceremony “ If I have a bad hair day, I wear a tuque"
    8. There is a hat called Took, which has headphones built inside!
