High Quality Handcrafted Stained Glass & Original Designs = pewtermoonsilver
As a child I believed that it was possible to earn a living as an 'artist', refusing everyone's 'sensible' career advice!
I gained a Foundation Diploma; a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design and a PGCE in Art & Design, yet found myself in a string of jobs that just didn't fit the bill. I found out the hard way that there is little freedom to be truly creative in most 'creative' jobs!
By 2004, stained glass making had morphed from a hobby into 'the one', allowing me to translate my own very unique, stylised designs into well finished products. I spent several years testing the water as a part-time business while holding down my day job...
.....and then in 2008 I took a big leap into the unknown.....
I left my day job, rented a shabby (but perfect!) studio space, and became a full-time stained glass artist/designer......there was no going back!
Fast forward to 2021 - I have been making my own original stained glass for more than 15 years. I sell my work online as well as completing many exciting private commissions. Despite the ups & downs of being a business owner and craftsperson, I am achieving a lifetime's ambition every day! Now I have true freedom & the future always looks exciting :)
