Note from shop owner Life has been crazy. One child and many jobs later, still looking for time to possibly get into selling on etsy.

In the meantime, my website is www.phillipschmidtpottery.com if interested.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I accept paypal and direct payment (credit card). If you live in Minnesota I add sales tax to the sale.
Shipping
I package my pots using a double box method and recycled newspaper. I first pack the pot securely into the first box and pad the entire space with plenty of newspaper. I tape the box up and place it into the next size larger box, packing all six sides of the negative space between the boxes. I tape all seams on the outside box for rigidity. This process secures everything tightly and ensures your pottery arrives unbroken.

Unfortunately pottery is expensive to ship, but this cost is necessary to ensure the pots arrive safely. If you live around the Twin Cities area in Minnesota, I would be glad to let you come pick the piece up. Just email me and we can figure things out.

I will ship at my earliest convenience after I receive payment. I use usps and ship Priority as a general rule. I do not insure or do confirmation unless the customer specifies and pays for the additional costs.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are not satisfied with your pottery purchase, you may:
A. Request a full refund for the price of the piece excluding shipping cost.
B. Apply the price of the piece (excluding shipping cost) towards another purchase.

**Returning a Package: Make sure the piece is well wrapped and cushioned. I do not refund or give credit for chipped, cracked and broken pieces or damage that occurred during return shipment if your shipper does not accept responsibility for the claim.

Damages/Breakage: If you receive a piece that has been broken during shipment, please notify me within 24 hours. It is necessary to save any pieces and the original packing materials for inspection and collection by our shipper.
Additional policies and FAQs
I will do my best to make sure you are happy with your purchase. If you have questions before you buy, please feel free to contact me.

Regarding commission work: I do not make custom pieces simply because it doesn't work very well. IE: Someone tells me they want a blue cup; well there are infinite shades of blue, and there are an infinite ways to make a cup. what is a cup? don't be afraid to ask, but don't be afraid of "no" either.
