One piece at the time

I've been selling on Etsy from 2010.
You will find only one of a kind pieces here, either jewelry or accessories.
I love to recycle and upcycle, and the materials I use are either vintage or old shop stocks that would have been otherwise thrown away.
I love to give new life to old outdated stuff.

One woman shop. I take care of it all by myself. Except the photos. Those are taken by beloved Erik, my husband.

Husband. Keeping up with my crazy moods and taking the photos, making my stuff look beautiful. He started recently to play with clay and makes wonderful beads that I use in my designs and that can be bought in his shop on etsy, ErikMakesBeads

Shop policies

Last updated on October 17, 2014
I am Pia and designing and making things is my fulltime occupation.
All my creations are one of a kind or very limetd quantity and the items are ready to ship.
I like to work on custom orders, if you would like something special or in a different color etc., I will be happy to help you.

All the items are made in my smoke-free studio.
I am a long time vegetarian, with a strong tendency to veganism.
I really do the best I can to be as eco-friendly as possible. Which means that I will re-use anything I can. Most of the materials I use are recycled or reclaimed; old sweaters, old curtains, blankets and throw pillows... My yarns come directly from the factories. They are the remains of old "out of fashion" collections...I've found some pretty amazing stuff in there every now and again...But that also implies that once they're gone they're gone forever. Sometimes I have enough to knit up a single pair of arm warmers, sometimes more, but never ever I'll be able to make hundreds of the same. Take that into account in your decision.

The buyer is responsible for any and all customs and duties.

The customs declaration put on the package will not contain false information for any reason.

I am not responsible for items damaged or lost during shipping.

I ship worldwide using POST NL prority post, the National Dutch Postal service, which doesn't provide a tracking service outside the Netherlands.
I can send registered, upon request, for more expensive purchases. Feel free to ask. This way, it will still be not trackable, but it will be insured for loss.

Consistent purchases (more than $200.00) and bulk orders will be shipped registered

I am located in the Netherlands.

Shipping within Europe normally takes 4-6 working days.

Shipping to the USA and other countries outside Europe takes approximately 10 days to 2 weeks. Packages sent to countries outside the European Union are occasionally delayed by customs, this is out of my control and I request that you factor this eventuality into the delivery time. It does not happen often, but it can happen.

Additional policies and FAQs

If you would like a custom item please contact me with your ideas, I will see what I can do.

Because of the kind of materials I use in my work, mostly reclaimed or upcycled, the items are pretty much unique or in very limited quantities. I'm not able to do wholesale, but I can handle bulk orders, please contact me to talk about the terms and conditions.

I try very hard to accurately represent my product through photographs and description, but the color of the image can vary widely from one computer monitor to another.

I reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone with a history of negative feedback or malicious behavior towards other Etsy members.

If you have questions about any of my items or policies please do not hesitate to contact me.
If you are not satisfied for any reason with what you received, I'd appreciate if you would contact me BEFORE leaving feedback
